I think it's a very tough first game of the season for BOTH teams and each will be better and tested after playing. All the chest bumping is pointless. It's a pre-district game between two teams that are very likely to make the playoffs. The team that executes the best and makes the fewest mistakes will most likely win. I hope it's a great game without injuries. I will be making the short trip!

First of all Ned's running attack which is the lifeblood of their offense was greatly helped along by a good o-line. With the departure of guys like Pryor Ned's line is going to be hard pressed for improvement over what it was last year. Even still it took 46 team carries to get over the 200 yard mark on our D which should be a lot better this year. Raines made some good veteran plays last year like you would expect a three year starter to but I'm expecting some growing pains the new qb's first start, especially on the road.

I just now watched the first half of last years game again. Pryor played one play on offense and that was from the jumbo package on the 1 yard line.

I think this will be a good ball game. The twins have speed and that might be our Achilles Heel this year. Nederlands offense is much improved this season. I say first team to 30 wins it. Looking forward to it! I will take the Dogs in a tight one, but I don't see a blowout for either team.

PNG by 14. Indians have played well in both scrimmages. Tigers have talent but have sounded a little flat in both. Game is at the Reservation and Tribe has a long win streak vs. Silsbee.

Seems like he would make a great FB, TE, LB, or S. Surely they won't let him sit the bench all year.
