1. Nederland - lots returning on both sides of the ball.
2. Central - impressed with the young QB and has some talent around him
3. Vidor - they graduate a lot, but Matthews has built a program
4. Ozen - they always find a way to get in recently, I like the new QB
5. LC-M - talented QB and some WRs return
5. PN-G - Rose will have a huge year, but no D= no playoffs. Fresh class good but not yet..
5. Livingston - don't know much about them, but always speedy
8. Lumberton - good frosh class, but hard to depend on youngsters

in the 2nd half: The first PF call on NED in the 3rd qtr pretty much sealed it IMO, lost composure when the game wasnt over yet, G'Town took advantage.

Raines was off tonight, dont know what that was all about. Why wasnt Hopkins playing most of the 1st qtr also?  Defense IMO got tired after the 1st qtr, they were getting to #10 but after the GTown oline started blocking better he was picking that secondary apart. For NED next year you guys better get your [b]depth issues[/b] right, not saying it was an excuse for losing tonight but i sure didnt see anyone from GTown getting tired, saw alot of subbing in & out by them, they were pretty fresh. Agree wholeheartedly on the pick 6. Most important play of the game in my eyes. Ned D was great in 1st q, but got wore down because they were on the field a lot because the offense was struggling against a good Eagle D. I think it was obvious that Hopkins was not 100 percent today but he is a gamer and did not want to come out. Great season by Ned, I agree.

Congrats! You guys have a great team. That QB is excellent and the Defense is very underrated. The better team definitely won this game. This was not one of Nederlands better performances, but the Eagles D had a lot to do with that. Good luck in the next game(s).

A huge congrats to all the 2012 Dogs. It was a great run and a fun ride! Hold your heads up high!

The Nederland Offense will have to score quite a bit to stay in the game.  Just my thoughts.

Some very memorable runs. I was there for both! Micah was an AMAZING back and everyone always underestimated his speed. He could fly! Those were LaMarque corners chasing and not gaining on him one bit!

Vidor and Angleton definitely earned their rushing yards against Ned. Ned did hold Vidor well below their season average though. Angleton ran it well on the Dogs but had single digit passing yards. Goose Creek had a 75 yard TD run against our 1st teamers. The majority of their rushing yards came on 2 long rush TDs against the 2nd string and one of those was the final play of the game. The 2nd string played the ENTIRE 4q against Goose Creek. Ned will have to come up big against a great offense like Dawson, but the Eagles will have to earn every yard.

Summer Creek is a great REGULAR SEASON team theblast 2 years, but obviously can't cut the mustard in the playoffs. How is yalls basketball team?
