Both teams are gonna be just fine. It was a good early season game for both to play and both teams will improve because of it. Two very evenly matched teams in my opinion. The defenses for both will keep them in most games and if the offenses improve and start clicking the teams will be really good.

We picked up Lufkin last year.

Super impressed with the Ned secondary last night. WOS receivers were covered all night. WOS has some good RBs that run hard. It was a hard hitting game. Ned offense got hot at the right time. Ned QB is a much better runner than I expected and we already knew Fuselier was a beast. Great pass by Kendrick on the trick play! Both teams will be fine. The defenses should keep them in most games.

If any of those RBs need a big O-Line to run behind and wants 25 carries a game, I know a guy 😂. #bellcow #mailbox

I mentioned the drop off in the run game from what we’ve seen the last several years BEFORE last night’s scrimmage. It’s really a shame too, because we have a huge O-Line to run behind. Hopefully, someone will step up. I think the defense is okay but there’s been a few mixups in the secondary. Bottom line to me is this… if we don’t find a reliable run game, then we don’t beat good teams. I certainly classify WOS as a good team.

We have a lot of work to do. There is a HUGE drop off in our running game from what we’ve been used to the last several years from what I saw last night.

FBM is solid, but Ned was so bad on Saturday that I could list pages and pages of teams that would have beat the crap out of us, including Crosby. If Dunn is healthy, I think Crosby will win this game.

I think this will be a really tough game. FBM is definitely the favorite, but I can’t wait to watch my Dogs give it all they got. This team has been so fun to watch. Hope we keep it going!

As a neutral 3rd party(Nederland fan), I don’t see either team winning by 21 points. Two good teams going at it and I suspect it will go down to the wire! I don’t think either team is winning by double digits. Should be a great game!

They are similar to us. The one thing that stood out to me though is that I think we are better on the defensive side than they are and I think we can get more stops.

I think the announcers said that Pine Tree and Ned had one common opponent. The Pirates beat Jacksonville 49-42 if I heard him correctly.

Was Crosby more impressed with the Dogs performance Friday night or the dance moves at the end of the game? In all seriousness, that was a great football game. Good luck to both teams the rest of the way.

Ned will be the 1 or 2 seed and host a playoff game if this score holds up.

I am absolutely amazed at the 40-13 2nd quarter score. I guess this is why they play the game...

TC has a good run defense, but can’t defend the pass. Bost should have a field day picking apart the secondary as long as the weather isn’t too bad. I don’t think TC can score enough points to win this one even against a suspect PNG defense.
