  1. I think the L-Train will get back on track this week. Da Train by 2-3 TD's.
  2. I am a Ned fan, but I would be SHOCKED if the Bears score 40 points in the game and LOSE. If they hang 40 on us, I think they will be heading back to Mauriceville with their first district win. With that said, I don't think they will score 40 on us and I don't think they will beat us either. I am not sure what the problem is at LC-M though, I thought they were gonna be major players in the playoff race this season.
  3. I agree with Hatchet
  4. That's the point I was trying to make... ;D Thanks for the re-enforcing it for me. I guess some people did not understand.
  5. I predict that Dayton and PN-G will both finish 6-1 and tie for 1st. The game between Nederland and Lumberton in week 10 will be for 3rd place with the winner getting in and the loser going home.
  6. We are running the veer so you will not get any picks! ;D Seriously though, Jefferson county will be wearing their home black shirts while Orange County will be in their visiting white shirts. I definitely think we need the colors because there will be a bunch of people here who do not know each other. Sound good?
  7. I am not into comparing scores... But, I will point out that Ozen only lost to PN-G by 2 points. They have come closer to beating them than anyone else has.
  8. I really like Dayton in this game. I think with the QB change and a defense that has been nails in district that Dayton is again the BEST team in this district. DAYTON wins this game by at least 2 scores in my opinion.
  9. I can't decide who to pull for here, New Indian. It would be fun if y'all beat them to hear all of the back-tracking, but in a way I want the Dogs to put the blemish on them. Know what I mean?
  10. Nederland Freshmen 52 Ozen Freshmen 0
  11. In a way, I hope y'all win this game vs. PN-G, but I don't know if I can stand 3 more weeks of bragging. If y'all do though, it will be that much sweeter when Nederland hangs the first "L" on that train.
  12. Indians Hang First "L" on the L-Train with 21-17 win
  13. My bad.. Y'all stiffened up at the end. ;D
  14. Vidor scored 14 on y'all and a combined 7 on their other 2 district opponents. Sounds like the #8 state defense rating may be a little flawed also. ???
  15. They did shut us down in the 2nd half after we scored 38 in the first half. We scored more in the first half on them then y'all did the whole game. But, who is counting? ;D
  16. Good post, raidernation. The Lumberton defense has got to be the most improved defense in the area.
  17. Well it is 15 pages deep now, so the topic might change. ;D Lumberton fans are predicting a blowout win and Pn-g fans are predicting a win as well. We gotta spice it up a little!
  18. He may have the best hands of any of the previous great Ned WR's. That was one helluva catch!
  19. Ok, Guys.. Let's get 'em started...
  20. Main reasons for the move to the spread in my opinion.. 1. To take advantage of Sampere's running and throwing ability. It is a shame that he went down with the injury. He gave us another dimension on offense. Kirby has done a great job at QB for us, but is not the running threat that Sampere was. 2. Lack of size and run blocking on O-line. I think Neumann knew that run blocking would not be our cup of tea. 3. A bevy of talented WR's. We have several good ones and one GREAT one. I doubt even Neumann expected Cardenas to be this good.
  21. Ok, Lumberton fans.. I am a Nederland fan and will give you a little info on your misconception about Hemmings being a BIG and SLOW back. It is not the case. And, he is not all that PN-G has at all. Hemmings is a big, powerful runner that has above average speed when he gets thru the line. I'd say 4.6-4.65 range which is pretty fast for a 225-230 lb. back. He is not all that they have either. I felt like Wright #9 hurt us more than Hemmings did. He got the corner every time he wanted it. He has speed, I would say 4.5-4.55 range. Tatum is a solid QB. They rely on their running game and their defense, but he has a good arm and two solid WR's in Doty and Johnson. They also have a TE that can catch. If you think that PN-G is just one player, then you are in for a surprise. They have two good backs, a good QB, two good WR's, a solid TE, and a tough defense against the run. Both of these teams can stop the run. i think whoever THROWS the ball better and wins the turnover battle will win this game. These two teams are like mirror images of one another in my opinion
  22. I hate to say it and as embarrassing as it may sound, that is about our average per rush this season. I think this is why we throw 75% of the time. lol

  24. Sounds like the ending to the Ned/Vidor game last season...
