  4. [Hidden Content] LC very classy and complimentary in their win. I'd love to see a race between those Rogers bros. They are FAST!
  5. Somebody step up and represent SE Texas! What better way than to knock off the Coogahs today?!?! I'm a Ned fan that will be pulling for y'all as most of SE Texas will be as well.. Good luck to y'all.. Let's go represent 22-4A!
  6. Kirbyville, like all the other teams in this district, will be playing for 2nd place. WO-S will continue to dominate this district.
  7. 21-13 giddings, 4 mins left. wo-s on giddings 18 yard line
  8. All jokes aside, y'all's soph RB is going to be one helluva player. I was very impressed with him.
  9. It will be a very daunting task this week. But, that's what the playoffs are all about. You get to take a shot at the best teams. Y'all should try it sometime over there in Lumberton, blue.
  10. I went to y'all's game last week.. Great game, great fans, great atmosphere, great team, and a great group of young men y'all have on the field over there. Gonna have to step it up a few notches this week, but I am pulling for y'all!! Good luck EC!
  11. Actually, the distance home is the same rather we win or lose.
  12. I am excited to see this Rodgers kid play for LC.. He is only a junior and Friendswood's coach says he is the best back he has seen in his 25 yrs. of coaching. Neumann compared him to a cross between Barry Sanders and Reggie Bush. I hope we can at least contain him, otherwise it will be a long night.
  13. i wonder why the highlights against nederland left mosley's long TD runs out? they showed some long td runs for Galveston Ball.
  14. Mart by 20. I saw EC in person last Friday night and their run defense was very soft against Hemphill. Mart has much more speed and probably a lot more athletes than Hemphill did.
  15. LM 28 Central 21 I think that LM has a great coach and the speed to contain Williams and Hall. Should be a fun game to watch with lots of D-1 talent going at it.
  16. Stangs 34 Giddings 21
  17. I think on paper that LC is a good 2-3 TD favorite over Nederland. I think they look comparable to Dayton on paper. I will say this, Ned's defense showed something last night that I have not seen all year. 48 mins of intensity and hardly any missed tackles. Problem is, I think every team in our district would have beaten GP. I won't predict on this one because I refuse to pick against the Dogs, but we are a sizeable underdog here. If we play defense like last night and get Mosley going early, then this might be a ballgame and you never know!
  18. DAYTON 31 TC 10 Team seems to be hitting on all cylinders.
  19. dravantti johnson.. also wareall grogan had a great game too..
  20. I did not realize how many BIG Barbers Hill fans there were! lol
  21. I have trouble giving coach of the year to a guy whose team went 5-5(Moody). I say the winner is...... Jerry Stewart- Dayton Came into the new district and swept thru it. Very impressive feat. The district really wasn't as down as people think. The top 2 teams were real good. All the others could beat each other on any given night.
  22. Okay.. Here's my take.. Last week, the quick and elusive QB from GP gave the Hill fits in the first half it sounds like. To the tune of 22-0. This week, they play against a more polished, quicker, and more elusive QB who has more weapons than GP. But, the difference this week is if Central gets up 22-0, they will not lay down and die in the 2nd half like GP did last week. I don't think this will be a blowout, however. Central has been known this season to dominate for 1 half and then set the cruise control on offense. I still think they will win by 2 TD's though. More than that if they keep the intensity up all 4 quarters. I'd like to see them open a can for 4 quarters like they did against my Dogs earlier this season. They were mighty impressive that night!
  23. Galena Park's 8 wins have come against teams with a combined record of 19-51. So, with that said, I would not put too much stock into their record. Also, Galena Park was 10-0 last year or the year before and got trounced in the first round by Ozen to the tune of 63-7. I am not saying that is a precursor to this Saturday night, but I am saying that sometimes records don't mean squat! I have not seen GP play, but a highly respected LaMarque fan all but guaranteed me that Nederland would handle GP fairly easily. He is usually right. Looking forward to seeing GP's QB who has already been offered by Nebraska.
  24. Tell us how you really feel, truth.. lol
  25. Mosley. How can it even be argued this week.. 406 yards?!?!?!?!
