  1. there were several missed calls by that crew.. i saw 2-3 procedure calls missed on the bears offense that were not called.. granted, there were probably a few holding calls missed on BOTH teams.. overall, with the inconsistent referees and the biased time keeper as well as the other hometown amenities, i was happy to escape with a win.. LC-M thoroughly outplayed is for 3 1/2 quarters.. it takes 4 to win a game especially against a team that is your equal or even better than yours.
  2. Scoreboard is very neat.. Also, even though it is annoying at times, the growling bear is cool too.. And, I like the way the announcer gets the fans involved.. Very glad to escape this game with a win.. Y'all probably feel about like we did when we let the Vidor game slip away.. Tough one to lose.. I thought both defenses did a wonderful job. Good luck to the Bears the rest of the way.
  3. Great game! LC-M impressed me on defense, not so much on offense.. Great atmosphere at that game.. Very unfortunate that the WR dropped that pass that would have probably given LC-M the game or close to it. When you have a team down, you gotta apply the knockout punch and LC-M failed to do so.. How about that Micah Mosely? Does that kid have heart or what?!?!?
  4. i wish i was holybojo's bookie  1'd be rich
  5. I agree Jags.. I think the Jags step it up when the other team has their attention, examples are Nederland game and the West Brook game.. I was at the Nederland/Central game and you guys were FLAWLESS that night.. That QB is quite an athlete.. I think people are looking into the scores too much.. This is going to be a great game.. I cannot see Central getting blown out.. In fact, I think they will win the game.
  6. nope.. they get swept 2nite.. vidor is not the same team on the road as they are at home.. should be a close game, but png takes it.. nederland/lcm will probably be close too, but i'll go with the dogs.. neumann will have them ready, he's got a lot of big game experience and also has the best RB in SE Texas.
  7. if he can run for 275 with a bad ankle, then i am pretty sure a wet field with an ankle close to 100% won't slow him down much.
  8. salter18, if you are a player, then you are putting a huge bullseye on your chest. i know a lot of the area players read this board and you should really tone it down a notch.. if you really are #18, then i hope our bookends #44 and #72 meet you everytime you touch the ball.. you would probably be at a loss for words.
  9. piratesfan, how is it very unlikely that y'all will lose another game? y'all have lost 75% of your district games and it woulda been 100% if not for the 2 minute miracle vs. Ned.
  10. Y'all got BOJO, but I'd much rather have MOMO(#20).
  11. I'll take the Dogs by 7 here.. Should be a great game, playoff atmosphere.. Too much Mosley at the end.. Dogs win it 35-28.
  12. I think everyone is overlooking the fact that Central can match Dayton athlete for athlete. Dayton has onlt played one team so far that can match them athlete for athlete and they got stung 26-9.. It should be a great ball game, these two teams are the class of the district hands down, but count me as one of the 10% that thinks Central will take a close one at home.
  13. Have the Pirates won a road game this year? I will go with the Injuns in a tight one by 6.
  14. Driskell was a joy to watch, especially on the wrap around draw.. Pure speed-wise though, Micah is the fastest back I can remember us having.. Can't wait till he is 100% again.. Maybe this week.. I think Micah is the best back that Ned has had, followed closely by Sumrall, and then a decent gap to Labove. Dogs by 7 this week!
