Coach Gage has prepared for the playoffs so many times that I think Barbers Hill will be ready.  Coach Gage is doing a great job!  Good Luck to the Indians and may the best Eagle...er team win!

For all you Dayton folks who have nothing better to do than write on this website(I am actually wondering if any teaching is going on at DJHS), you are forgetting about 1 thing in Crosby's arsenal-MERKA.  ALthough I live in the Hill, the 3 years I have seen this kid play has been nothing but hard, CLEAN and physical football.  Although we are enemies with other towns, you have to give a thumbs up to Merka and his accomplishments-much like to Dayton's Cody Green. [b]Crosby[/b] in a shootout- because all of you are right-Crosby's Defense can't stop folks right now.  They didn't stop us with a Freshman QB or when our backup Townley came in.  Good Luck in the helaing process Mr. Denny!  Go Eagles- BEAT PNG

P4E you are right, we usually behave accordingly over here, but to be honest, the Freshman from Crosby-as good as all the hype was coming in-were actually humble and played really hard without the talk.  The JV game was so out of hand there is no telling what was said for that punch.

I have to say as a Barbers Hill fan I am embarrassed how our kids acted last night during the games.  During the Freshman A game, one of our players hit a kid who was almost by the track!  Then the JV game a player from the Hill got ejected for throwing punches.  I am not a Crosby fan but I apologize to their players/fans for our actions.  COme on Coach Gage, clean that up!

Carthage mashed Gilmer..who is down but still very good.  Carthage is gaining steam and as one earlier poster put-they are the team to beat in 3A. 

We are pl;aying our best ball of the season and will win out!  GCM played the game of their life last week but will not get by the HILL

No, Dayton has only 1 Freshman game tonight...we will have a tough one tonight vs GCM...I hear they are good at the lower levels. 

There will be no B game..Dayton was caught using A teamers playing in B games by Coach Gage so Dayton only has A team.
