Didn't he have some kind of surgery?
He had Tommy John surgery and is doing good. Actually, he threw to three batters and struck them out on eleven pitches. In the first scrimmage he threw to nine batters and threw 68% strikes giving up one hit and hit a batter. He's rehab is over and he is excited to be back on the mound and back with his Tiger team mates. Here is hoping and looking forward to a great year.
He really needs to go slow.  Glad to see they only threw him one inning.  Congratulations.
 2.
SILSBEE VS. WOODVILLE 7-3 VS. LIBERTY 12-2
Thanks for posting the Silsbee results.
 3.
Silsbee will bring two top notch pitchers this year that will team up with Lance Brown and Justin Flowers to make a very competive pitching staff. Clint Scoggins and Colby Jenkins are back from Tommy John surgery after missing last year. Both of these boys are hitting 90 and have some good second and third pitches to go along with the heat. These two have been rehabing the past year and are really excited to get on the mound for Silsbee this year. Its has been a painful and exhusting come back for these two. Time will tell the hole truth, but watching these two rehab this summer and fall they look good. Ether of these two can be the starter. Can't wait for some Tiger Baseball.
Great news. Is Clint your son or nephew?
 4.
A little Karma for The Woodlands last night. Last week multiple fans where posting about having an "easy win" homecoming game against Conroe in a local paper (even the column on the game concieded the game for The Woodlands before it was played), Conroe is in a huge downyear. Congrats Klein Oak for putting the money-arrogance bunch to rest in their HOME STADIUM. I'm your biggest fan this year from here on out.
Judging an entire community for what a few people may have posted on an internet site.  Pure genious. I live in The Woodlands and was at the game last night.  They fought had but got beat by a team that wanted it more.
 5. Mike your microphone needs to be turned up.  Tims is louder.
 6.
Oh Okay.... Now that I got all your attention I can admit that the hardest game you ever play is the next one you face and your biggest enemy is always yourself. Truth of the matter is I am from Huffman and I believe they have a winners Heart having said that coldsprings will be an uphill battle for Huffman and I never underestimate Silsbee or any other team that is in the Playoffs. Truth is What I have learned is High school football is at its most purest form as most players will never pick up a football again after high school and they play for the love of the game I stay with my perdition that Huffman will beat Silsbee but will have a second or third round exit I do believe that with this team anything is possible..... HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL ROCKS Go Huffman
Good perdition and well wroted.
 7.
I don't have a "problem" of beating UT. Where on earth did you get that from? I don't care about A&M either. I think you made some assumptions here. "Beating UT" is pretty easy this year, anyhow. UCLA blew them out of the stadium on national TV, then OU beat them soundly, too. Horns are not even in the top 25, and face Top Ten Nebraska next. Why exactly does ESPN glorify UT anyway? It was a free recruiting commerical for UT. Maybe they do need it? LOL!  ;D
I watched the game and did not come to the same conclusion as you.  UT does not have a commit from either of those schools.  They did mention Herschel Sims and commitment to OSU a number of times.
 8.
Based on the historical data posted on page no. 2 by AAW, BC has a 2% chance of winning the ball-game. However, since the Tigers are 30-6-1 against the cards and are the reigning district champs, I've gotta go with the tigers by +6 in this one. Best of luck to both teams.
You need to check your math.     One of the first things I learned in Statistics is that probability has no memory. Silsbee has dominated the series but I think BC takes this one.
 9.
Yea, your right, they are going to be amazing this year. Better?
As a former Tiger baseball player I seriously hope you are not a part of this team.  All it takes is one cancer like you to ruin a team.
 10.
Take Hwy 105 from Beaumont to Conroe, take a right like you are going I-45 North, stay on the access road about 1/2 mile, look on your right for a place called ''Chuy's''. Best Mexican food I have ever had. Order the fajita enchilada dinner with the green sauce. Their jalapeno ranch dip is to die for. Made a special trip and bought over $100 worth of dip for me and some co-workers.
Actually, Chuy's is just north of Research Forest on the north feeder between Research and 242.  It is just up from the Woodforest Stadium. The directions above with the previous poster would be Los Cucos in Conroe.  This is a very good option as well.
 11. Rumors out of West Virginia are saying that Jeremy Johnson was not at practice today and is transferring to Baylor.  One of my co-workers, who is an ex West Virginina player, said he heard from a good source today that their is truth to the rumor.  Was wondering if anyone has heard this.  I would love to see him back in texas.
