I wish both teams could lose. J/K if I have to pick one I guess I'll go with Nederland since a few friends kids attend that school district. Sounds like a hard fought game so far.

This could really get ugly in the second half as the 2nd and 3rd team players for WO-S are going to want to score even if Coach Thompson has the OC just call basic plays.

I haven't seen anyone like this kid. Wow, he is a freakish athlete, the type that come along maybe a few times a decade. I am to young to remember Kenneth Hall from Sugar Land but he is putting up those types of numbers.

I had a feeling WO-S was coming to play tonight.

Just a reminder, there is a small section of bleachers so to be safe bring your lawn chairs. Also, the game could be pretty long if it is high scoring so bring something to drink and they are suppost to be selling refreshments at the game. Then I heard a couple guys will be tailgating so there may be some good food for those early to the game. Thanks to WOSgrad for posting all the differences between 11 man and 6 man football. Hope I can make it if the don't need me tomorrow at work. CCS is working to the last minute as the are putting the final touches on the scoreboard which will probably be lit up pretty often.

Hate to post this but he isn't responding to treatment. I really can't say anymore than this due to possible HIPPA violations. Please pray for peace for the family and strength though this difficult time. 

Missouri Valley College is a very good NAIA program and they have won the National Championship before and finished second a couple of times. He'll have some great memories playing at a school with a winning tradition and him being the 1st true freshman to start at QB in 25 years. He'll be a legend there!

Best of luck to Bruce, may he break all the QB records at Missouri Valley College and possibly be one of the 1% of HS players to play at the highest level. Yes, there are guys from NAIA schools that make it to the NFL. Not sure how many are QB through. Lamar does have six QB's on the roster with one being 5-11 Doug Prewitt so I don't understand why his size was a big deal to the Lamar coaches. I have to disagree about battle tested though as Prewitt and Bevil played against college competition. If you are talking about other QB's I might agree. Again, best of luck to Bruce and his future at Missouri Valley College.  I know this doesn't apply to Bruce but a NAIA school can take a kid who can't qualify at a DI.
