The Puddin Conference LU - Southland Ul-La - Sun Belt McNeese - Southland Troy - Sun Belt So Bammy - Sun Belt La Tech - WAC Appy St. - Southern Conference Ga.Southern - Southern Conference Sam,or texas st jr college - Southland/WAC that there is a good,southern fried  conference oh,and Smu so we have some graduates - C-USA These teams will never be is the same conference and McNeese has no aspiration of going FBS in football. If La Tech leaves the WAC it will be for C-USA. Then the two schools in the Southern Conference have won multiple FCS championships and I have yet to hear of them being mentioned going FBS. SHSU is very tentative about going FBS and leaving the SLC. So for Lamar it is the WAC or Sun Belt if a team or two leaves. Otherwise, we'll be in the SLC.

You are right we got to attack the basketball and get to the FT line. I hope we can pull this one out without Jenna because UTA isn't really very good.

Smith is a nice rebounder and blocks a few shots but she doesn't bring anything to the table on the offensive end. I just saw her travel when going up with a shot!

From the live video streaming of the game it appears UTA is getting too many offensive rebounds and the LU ladies are turning the ball over too often. Still early in the game though.

I believe Javelina mentioned a PNG playoff game at the same time at the new football complex in Beaumont. Lamar has a lot of alumni from PNG and I'm sure it did effect attendance some. What the guys in the athletic development office want is more Lamar students at the games.

That won't happen this upcoming season as McNeese State is our final game of the regular season at home. McNeese travels well and I'm sure it will be a sell out as the Cowboys will probably he in the running for the SLC championship will be addition of Riley Dodge at QB. I'm hopeful Lamar is very competitive in conference. If they are winning the fan's will come.

IMO the WAC needs to stay away from non football schools and have a 12 team conference.

Sleepy, AB if we're not able to get a better candidate might be better prepared for a Head Coaching position at age 50. He has been at UH, Texas Tech, UTEP, North Texas, A&M, Kentucky and back at Houston. I'm sure he has learned a lot since 1998, his last year as Head Coach at Houston. There would need to be a couple of assistants to help him get the program off the ground. One a good X's and O's man and a good recruiter which could come from getting his son here from SHSU. Well, I remember going to a University of Houston and Lamar game in the early 90. UH team had a nickname of Phi Slama Jama for all the dunks they did during pregame warm ups. It was awesome watching those guys display all kinds of dunks. However, in the end, Lamar won that game and felt great because we not only beat UH but our former Head Coach in Pat Foster.

Guess that (assistant college coaching experience) is why one is a college QB coach and the other is the Head Coach of the 49ers with a 5 year $25 million dollar contract.

Now, that would make a great story. Getting fired mid-season by UNT for a record of 6-37 at a Sun Belt school to the Head Coach at the University of Pittsburgh and a Big East Conference. I'm a huge Todd Dodge fan but that would make for a huge turnaround in the world of college coaching. I see him as a head coach again but at a school in the southwest.

They can dunk during warm-ups as long as the refs aren't on the floor. Once those guys show up it's a no-no.

Zack was a 2nd Team 2010 All-SETXsports.com selection at WR. He made the 1st Team Port Arthur News Super Team at WR and was a 1st Team Beaumont Enterprise Super Gold Team selection at WR. Appears Lamar is looking at him. Does anyone know it a offer has been made? He is listed at 6-0, 180 with a 4.5 forty time. He could join Joseph Viator a former LC-M Bear on the Lamar football team.
