Ford got his 100+ yrds, but he had to fight for every one of em...hope the o-line improves....but I must addmit Coldspring has some HUGE boys on the lines!!

yea, #2 Haywood was a surprise to me....very fast..not much size, but alot of heart...looks good along side Ford...either way you got speed. Passing game wasn't too bad for 1st game, and was much needed to spread that def. out some.

it's usually late in season when all the issues are ironed out that we battle....it may start out a little clumsy, but will be a great 2nd half game imo. :D K-ville 28-21

K. Bennett will be a handfull...very powerful runner, but Little Will and Aaron will be there to greet him. How's their qb this year?

#2 Haywood looked good to me...glad to see some passing...I think Ford had half the defence on him even when he didn't have the ball!! Had to shake it up to get things moving. good job on def.

i'm sure they havent under estimated Coldspring or Bryan Barbay.....will be a good gadge on where they stand, that's for sure. as far as being in shape for 4 qtrs of ironman ball....I would imagine Coldspring will be playin both sides as well.

I can't believe nobody is talking about this game.....maybe it's too close to call???? I say k-ville's defence makes a real showing tonight....brick wall....I'm ready to see Ford get back in his grove and prove he can run on 3a just as well.

I enjoyed my time playing in Newton with Barbay and I know he has given a lot to not only Newton but to the state...you will be missed.....I only ask one thing Curtis...[u]BEAT Daingerfield[/u] before you leave!!!!
