Stats mean absolutely nothing at this point or any point in the season, stats get you honor. You think your gonna be remembered more if your batting .500 with 12 Hrs or batting .250 1 Hr and that one Hr comes as a wlk off in an important game. Bottom Line is if your team is full of talented players vs a team with great stats against weak teams, then talented players win. Everytime. It comes down to who makes plays. In the 3rd game I believe that the MERCY RULE was in effect!! AKA, Slaughter rule, were we got to end the game early in the 5th inning... In case you forgot this spares the LOSING team the humiliation of suffering a loss!! but Overton doesn't have talent? Overton shouldn't be playing tonight? Ur idiotic if you think you can sit here and think that Overton does NOT deserve the win. They have played top teams in East Texas including 2A White Oak that is still headed towards state. Both teams did great and it was an awesome game to watch but Overton FAIRLY won the battle.
