Gas and Goblin brings up some very good points.Been skeptical a bout Sweeny due to their schedule but gave them the benefit of the doubt until they played competitive teams.Their dominance of teams has been greatly diminished when playing better teams.The game against La Grange sealed the deal for me.Sweeny jump out for 21 points the first half scored no points the 2nd half and held on to win 21-14 against La Grange So they are not the world beaters their record indicates. I agree about the CB play.Need to challenge these guys and just not watch them catch the ball.

Well there were two # 4 seeds that beat district winners,Gilmer over Sunnyvale 38-24 and Llano over Hondo 21-14.Sunnyvale came in 9-0 Gilmer6-4 but the other two were both 6-4 so I guess that's not a upset.Stay focused guys...you never know. Jasper fan sounds like your trying to convince yourself.lol

Navasota is a much improved team than when they started.All people saw was their 4 straight losses to start the season.they are better than their 5-5 record.With LCM win over Lumberton I thought they could have won this game anyway.

Been watching Sweeny this season and because of their weak schedule I'm not sold if they were that good.They were scoring a lot of points but when they played a competitive team they struggled somewhat and La Grange gave them a scare last night.So with the stable of running backs, a much improved passing game and a defense that's looking more like the chain gang I fell very confident that we take this one.

Good job.Beat Jasper and we might get to meet again.lol

I know what this team is made of and it's called never give up.We have been in the position to win all our games.Just needed to put the right people in the right position and I think coach T has finally done that.We have just as good of a shot to make it out of this region as Sweeny,Jasper or Giddings.It's not a sure thing as in the past but the are capable.

If there were any down side on this win it would be to many penalties again and the db/s got burnt a couple of times.Had a couple tds called back for penalties.Almost 600 yards of offense and that freshman Giles had over 200 yards on about 8 carries.Wow.

I will never again do Texan live.lost the feed almost entire 2nd half.
