All I know is they beat ya'lls district champs Salado in overtime and upset Giddings Friday.I might be with you on this one....toss up.

Dang third and fourth place teams.I missed 3 in region 3,1 in regions1,2 and 4.Biggest surprise to me was Fairfield over Giddings and Hondo over Pearsall.Second round probably want be much better.lol

I don't think Coach T will let this get out of control.Most of the scoring will be done in the first half.Lot of playing time for the second string.I'm thinking upper 40s to mid 50s.Of course T has no control on how well Royal's defense does even with the second string in there.

I have Madisonville winning and meeting WO-S in the third round.

I agree.Usually there are at least three dominate teams in this region.Couldn't have picked a better time for a team to have to rebuild or just reload.I'm pretty confident with our chances of making it out of the region, we will have to still bring our A game.It's not the 2016 version.

There is no comparison but here is a couple.Royal 101 points and 436 points given up.WO-S 326 points and 69 points given up.

Taking WO-S out of the equation.Looking at the brackets and the teams left ,except for a few, look to be pretty competitive and a shot of making it to the region final.I can't pick a clear cut favorite.Thoughts?

Sinton got blown out by Cuero and last week by Sweeny 54-0.They are tied for third in their district.They will make the playoffs but want go far.Other than Wimberley and Navarro,Sweeny looks pretty good.They gave Cuero all they wanted.Sweeny has only given up 81 points in 8 games.Another team to watch is 9-0 Pearsall.Don't know much about them but they have only given up 92 points in 9 games.

Just the opposite of last year.Last year Madisonville finished 3-8,Shepherd 7-3 and Bellville10-3.To date Madisonville is at 5-1,Shepherd 4-1 and Bellville 2-4.I see in 10-4A Smithville has had a huge turnaround at 5-0.Last year they went 0-10.

I said one team was going to make a statement after this game.I think both made a statement.D1 is going to have their hands full with Kennedale and WO-S is...WO-S.Coach T said we want see another team better the rest of the season...just as good but not better.
