There is going to be a statement made Friday night by one of these teams.Problem is....I don't know which will make it.I'm with you griff.lol

Our point output is 2-3 touchdown fewer and we are giving up more points this year.But Goblin on the other board pointed out even with that we beat all but one team by that margin or more last year.Kennedale scored 21 on us last year and has basically the same team back.You would think by what they have coming back and what we have lost player wise they will score at least 21 plus.This game will put things in perspective for the moment but rest assured the Stangs will only get better as time goes on.

Well Silsbee has a pretty good team and even with the loss I fell they are confident.Bridge City has just come on as of late and they to are confident.To answer my on question I don't either are sweating....geeze

That makes it a one game series for the Tigers and two games for the Cards.Who's sweating the most right now?

Kind of funny.A lot of people were on Chads case for his inconsistency on extra points...and yet his field goal could have been the difference in this ball game and for the extra point he made.Way to come through Chad.

My point was Sweetwater thinks they have a darn good defense and that they can stop WO-S offense.That's what we thought going into the game with Navasota in 2012.WO-S had about 8 shutouts and had only given up around 42 points.They beat us 38-7.Thier offense was that good.Sweetwaters defense ain't near as good as that 2012 team and they will find out like we did that it is hard to overcome a great offense....and we have the defense and the special teams. LET'S GO MEET EM!!!!!!!

Sweetwater has no clue as to what they are fixing to face.Reminds me of that Navasota beast a few years back that we thought we could hang with.Didn't take but a few possessions by them to know that we were in for a long night.When you got all the pieces...ya got all the pieces.

Just a few tidbits.Make of it what you will. Sweetwater pf 640-pa 243....avg points per game 45.71....allow 17.35....opponents combined record 68 wins 75 loses. WO-S pf 787-pa 63....avg points per game 52.46....allow 4.2.....opponents combined record 105 wins 67 loses.

We seemed to lose some intensity on offense in the second half.Thought I was at the state game against Gilmer.The defense never let up though.This team is something else.

Let me just throw this out there.I'm kind of tired of hearing how good this slot t team is and that they are the best team we will face to date.Like coach T says " you don't bring a mule to the Kentucky Derby " so who ever we would have got to play they wouldn't be no mule.Now I said all that to say this.This Mustang team will be the best team Navarro will have faced.Can I get an amen.lol

Navarro has had two close ball games.Giddings gave them all they wanted and 2A Refugio kept them to 14 points.I'm sorry but to go up against a team that has only allowed 56 points in 14 games and those aren't all offensive points and has scored over 700 plus points and has beat everyone they have faced pretty easy it's hard to go against WO-S.They might get their yards like Liberty did but they not going to stop this offense.Cuero,Giddings and Refugio held them in check pretty much and the Stangs defense is better that them.

I'm not impressed with their win over Cuero.Remember,Giddings played them close and that little 2A school like to beat them.They might get some yards like Liberty and might not but they ain't stopping this offense.They had their state game last week.
