I can see the perks of running the wing-t offense. Whenever you go up against a team that has a high octain offense such as WOS I think the Wing-T is an advantage to beat them due to the fact you can keep that offense off the field. But its also challenging to the WOS defense to get Navarro off the field and give the ball to Jack Dallas and company to let them get to work.  Looking for a good game on Friday Night at NRG. an team thats been in this situation the last three years, vs. a team that hasn't will be the edge...

I'll take WOS pulling away late in this one.

I think that's what they did against Cuero. Believe they kept the ball for about 8 minutes their first drive.Cuero has a good defense and kept it close but a few mistakes did them end.

Losteraussie what's up? You sound a lil different on this thread! I thought you were in WOS corner the last few weeks but you seem to be taking a single comment very dear to heart! We aren't talking crap to be disrespectful to Navarro I think that after facing this offense for the 9th time this year and after only allowing 35 points to it in 8 games that some feel we definitely have the odds in our favor! It almost sounds like you may be pulling for us to be upset by someone! This game will be amazing and I for one can't wait to see it! Good luck to both teams!

Losteraussie statement is 100% true.Your reading something into it that isn't there.

  3. WO-S.I've seen all the WO-S teams and this team is the most complete team I have ever seen. They have no weakness. You could say their extra point kicking is weak because it is not consistent but they can go for two and make it 99% of the time so I don't count that. They are just a beast in all phases of the game.

Same thing in 2012 against Navasota. 2000 was the first time WOS faced the spread and Harrell had been running it but knew the correct play to get ahead in the first half. WOS won the 2nd half of that game. Hopefully WOS realizes every team they meet from here on out knows they would lose unless some tricks are played.

Weren't we still running the veer then.Todays offense would have won that game imo.

Now that the game is over and the dust has settled, I wanna congratulate Bellville on their win against my Bobcats this past Saturday night. Very well coached and disciplined team. I was impressed with your kids and the respect they showed our kids during and after the game. Wasn't any trash talking, just two teams getting after each other and then kneeling and praying together after the game. That really stuck with me, you just don't see that much anymore, so it was a pleasant surprise.

Hats off to my Bobcats. We're definitely not the most talented team, but we play with so much heart and pride that we make up it a lot of times. But heart and pride can only carry you so much and sometimes you just play better teams and that's what happen Saturday night. We also have so many kids going both ways, we kinda ran out of gas in the fourth and it showed as Bellville scored 21 points. We did put a little scare in them when we took a 21-17 lead late in the 3rd, but they responded like good teams do.

Haven't seen Salado play, but I would think Bellville will win this game. And hopefully that will set up a rematch with WOS in New Caney the next week.

    +1

I look for us to put some big time pressure on the QB forcing him to be very uncomfortable. That's where he'll just throw the ball up and our ballhawking DBs will get after it.

We're going to score points, a bunch no doubt about that, but it's about who will get the most stops. We will stop them but i just can't see them slowing us down at all.

Although Robinson is second to us in points scored, they are the worst defensive team in the entire region giving up well over 400 points.I think they average giving up around 40 points a game. They have to outscore their opponents because they can't stop anyone.I figure they will score points on us.It's really delusional to think they want with there qb they have. How many I don't know,I'm thinking maybe 4 and we should be around 9.Going to be interesting to see how we handle a great passing game. You know there could be another one in the future.Just saying.
