Yes they matter.We as fans want to see our teams name in the polls so we can puff up our chest. ;D.Besides it lets us know who to be scared of. ;D Polls do one thing though...They put a target on your back.

I know I'm late with this post but have been away from the pc. Didn't know what this team had until they played FW.Left felling pretty good even though we lost.You can throw all the excuses for both sides out the window as for as I'm concerned.I saw two good teams get after each other all night and both were very determind.Good luck to FW and carry on Mustangs.

We will deal with those losses just fine!! We are not Lake Travis and know it!! But you never think the game you are getting ready to play will be one of those losses!! Seriously, my son said that WOS is impressive on the game film and we will have to play well. The team respects the talent and will not take them lightly, nor do I.  I still feel we will win by 14, but I also thought we would beat Dawson last year in the regional finals. And it is almost college football season!! Is the 5'5" running back one of the track team members?? He is quick. If Friendswood is as good as people are saying I'm looking forward to this game.Win or lose it will be a good test for wo-s and FW as well.We might be the underdog in this one but that's when we play our best.Don't count us out just yet. :)

From what I've read on here it looks pretty even on whos taking who to win.This game will not be a blow out by either team and either has the ability to win it.Bottom line is who is going to make the most of the others mistakes.This has always been a good game and I look for a hard fought game between these two this Friday.Being a homer I will give the edge to wo-s. ;)

Here is my two cents.Good scrimmage for wo-s.Good pratice.Did a lot better than last week but Vidor is no Dayton.Not going to put a whole lot of stock into this scrimmage other than a good pratice.Next couple of games will give us a better fell about this team and there is a lot of football left for improvment to be made.
