If the rest of the (WO-S) world were like you, the visitor's side at Provost Humphrey Stadium would be empty, but the Katy/Northshore game would receive a bump in attendance.

Defense is huge for WOS this year.Early on we gave up way to many big plays.That has gotten a little better recently.Our offense is not going to win a shoot out so the defense is our bread and butter, more so than in previous years.Just ask Silsbee.When they were in D1 a couple of years ago they had a hell of a offense but couldn't stop anyone.Had they had a defense to go with their offense they could have made a long run in the playoffs.

I disagree.If we didn't play for 4 quarters we lose that game and if we would quit making those mental mistakes we win by a lot more.lol

Moving on is the name of the game.  Some of you WO-S fans killing me.  So spoiled by years past.  Get the win, move on and be happy.  Team played hard and got the Dub.  Now, for the rematch with Jasper....

Only play I question was that fake punt.What the heck was that.Kicker could of run for the first down instead of lobbing it to a host of white jersey.And the play calling was not that bad.We just kept shooting ourselves  in the foot.

Liberty plays smashmouth football for 4 quarters.You can't let up on them and you have to get up on them early.This could be a trap game for Giddings.IMO.

Know what you mean.Back in 1988 WOS was ranked # 1 I think and played Paris ( WHO ) for state.Question wasn't if we would win, it was by how much.They took us to the cleaners.You never know when that destiny thing going to bite you in the arse.lol 

Don't know why it quoted Attitude also.Anyway.I been researching Sweeny and came to the same conclusions and they came close to losing to La Grange also.I know you can play a weak schedule and still be a good ball club as in Jasper's case, but Sweeny has failed to prove that when they played competition.Don't know if we stampede them but I like our chances.

Region 3 is wide open this year.You got two favorites in Jasper and Giddings but you still have WOS,Silsbee,Sweeny and dark horse Liberty that can get it done as well.That should be down to four this weekend,we'll see who is left standing.

Reason why I chose to attend this one after I broadcast East Chambers game earlier in the day.

Thanks! Yes I seen Sweeny play at least twice this season I live in Shadow Creek. I just know they are very talented. Sucky schedule but this the class they been waiting on for a while they are no slouch and very big for a 4 team. But them stangs have the Titles behind them and things like that matter in a game like this mentally. I just know it will be a lot of speed on the field both sides.  

Been watching Sweeny this season and because of their weak schedule I'm not sold if they were that good.They were scoring a lot of points but when they played a competitive team they struggled somewhat and La Grange gave them a scare last night.So with the stable of running backs, a much improved passing game and a defense that's looking more like the chain gang I fell very confident that we take this one.

Well there were two # 4 seeds that beat district winners,Gilmer over Sunnyvale 38-24 and Llano over Hondo 21-14.Sunnyvale came in 9-0 Gilmer6-4 but the other two were both 6-4 so I guess that's not a upset.Stay focused guys...you never know.

U know gunho listening to game Friday continue to show me what I stated on another post.why I said since 2011 when he took over that this has been CT best coaching year.doesnt have a stud at QB.or stud LBS,or DLine with an average DBs.but watching the struggle of his team from the beginning til now.even the details of offense.i even was smdh late in the year with the jasper and silsbee games.but if anyone truly has been paying attention to the actually players that has been playing.he has truly reached a point where if water boy would help them win.he would put him in.so as a football fan of the game.ppl really need to see that he would play anyone on either side of the ball to get a win.and that's what's making them dangerous this year.not saying they can't lose but whoever they play will be playing a desperate team. 

I know what this team is made of and it's called never give up.We have been in the position to win all our games.Just needed to put the right people in the right position and I think coach T has finally done that.We have just as good of a shot to make it out of this region as Sweeny,Jasper or Giddings.It's not a sure thing as in the past but the are capable.
