[/quote] Unless the SLC loses the Louisiana schools to budget cuts no one will has to replace UTSA since they have never fielded a football team so they dont need replacing and technically Lamar is replacing Texas State if they leave and the conference still has the same amount of football teams as before...

[/quote] Problem with the "big name" opponent theory is that youll be doing good to get 1 quality out of conference opponent in your house every season and more often you may not see a single one, and I understand that at the FCS level you will never see one.  Typically cellar dweller FBS school that want to play big name people travel to their house just like FCS schools only you get a bigger payday when you get there...

[/quote] Glad somebody found the crop duster comment funny...I thought the flyover was pretty freaking cool but and I know they werent crop dusters thats just the first thing that popped in my head...Im prolly the furthest thing from a Liberal youll ever find, and I just think that a teeny tiny school from florida who came to your house to play should be booed for general purposes, it would be different if it was Sam Houston or SFA or Mcneese or any other conference team you dont like...and the push off and officiating is all in your perspective so I'll leave it that other than to say there were bad call on both sides and that crew acted like they have never officiated a college game before at times...Again nice atmosphere and crowd...Im a season ticket holder for Sam Houston and I drive 2 hours to Huntsville 5 times a season and have never seen that, it was cool and if I were a Lamar Alumni Id be there everyweek...You guys should do everything possible to keep it up cause that kind of spirit is hard to get back once you lose it...Good luck the next two weeks...

All trash talking and bein a jerk for the fun of it aside.....I was very impressed with everything Lamar has done to the facilities, the atmosphere was awesome, and it was an all around good night of live college football in bmt....congrats on a nice home opener...

Since this lowly Bearkats team doesnt have their first home game until 9-25 I somehow managed to get a free ticket to this game...let the heckling begin...not really since yall are playin Webber High School...

SFA beat another NAIA school 92-0 last year...this game should be over by the end of the 1st quarter, West Brook could proly have a better showing than Webber...this is like Kaplan College by parkdale fielding a team. 

It wont be fun for Webber but you should have a blast...

NAIA is college football for guys who play for love of the game not talent or theyd be at an NCAA caliber institution...this game was scheduled as the first game of the year on purpose, you guys should hang 60+ on them easily...
