Jordan Garret hurt? IMO he was a better RB in HS than Cmike...for those that saw him play RB, what ya'll think? Can he play it at Lamar?
Sarge, you need to stop before folks stop taking you seriously. ;)
I know u weren't at those games, bet u didn't know he was a QB either...played RB...WR, but was a better running back...I was at every practice and game...u weren't.. ;)
So, Garrett was a better RB in high school than what C-Mike was. Interesting...... So, why is C-Mike the leading rusher for a top 25 FBS school and Garrett cannot get on the field for a Lamar team?
Garrett was a better back in HIGH SCHOOL, during his Jr year especially...their not in high school anymore...why isn't Garrett on the field at Lamar?  Same reason the team still looks like a first year program after 3 or four years(coaching).......Garret started at TULANE as a Safety after playing WR/RB/DB at West Brook.  they pretty much stopped giving him an opportunity at RB after his Jr yr...Averaged 7.5 yds per carry as a senior was playing a little bit both ways RB/WR/DB...AGAIN I was there at ALL the practices, ALL the games, and 7 on 7 for 3 yrs ...he's not the first person to leave WB that didn't get what he should have....some years WB just has too much talent(Nick Barber, the kids a Legacy, etc...)...In my opinion, somebody didn't want another year of splitting carries (Albert Williams, Garrett, Cooper, etc...);) LAMAR should move him to RB, he's a great ATH and has the frame for a RB with great hands, did I mention he can throw too?  The boy throws about as hard as Bevil...with an off-season at RB he's good enough to get in the rotation... 8)
speaking of Barber does LU have any interest in him? if he worked out in a college program and got stronger along with his speed he could be a big weapon
With this offense, rb is the last thing we should recruit...why waste a scholarship on somebody thats just gonna get his arse smacked in the backfield? Garrett is a good back, wouldnt be doing squat with this o-line, harmon is good..same deal...THERE IS NO PLACE TO RUN!!!!!!!!!
hopefully they keep him in for 2nd half
a pass that didnt look like a beachball floating in the air!
 11. I think its about time to evalute our coaching staff.......
 12. ..put in Prewitt..or Berry..or Tatum this looks like bad 1a football
 13. after Jerijohn missed rec by 15 yds...Bo Brown says "jerjohn is not a throwing qb, not who you want in when playing catch up"

Other than that I am ready for Johnson to start as Bevil is a senior and while he has played good at times it does not seem he can perform consistently against better competition and will be gone after four more games.
HE WAS 23-29????!!!!!  Johnson cant throw..looks to run no matter what!  Not a college qb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"You are litterally too stupid to insult." The Hangover.
one t I love it when you get called stupid by somebody who can't spell. "Blow it out your arse".  Puddin Tane
 23. hmmm...2 1/2 yrs into a start-up program The same source said Santiago’s “management style” with his players and assistant coaches became an issue that boiled over at last Tuesday’s workout. I was impressed with his offense......

Coach has to go find a qb this spring bc he does not have one. I hope we can beat SFA and Nichols to save face on a good season.
Sorry, but the BS that happened last Spring....DOTY, GONZALES, (the little guy from Hardin).....None getting an offer and u have 7 or 8 on the roster...2/3 can compete at QB, they should have pulled back the scholarships from the guys not being able to make an impact at other positions.... You red shirt Doty, Gonzales, OR the Hardin QB(whom ever)...ALL 3 are athletic enough to Play QB/WR and are play makers!! Defensively... There are enough West Brook players???  WHO's MAKING ALL THE PLAYS?  Maybe there ISN'T enough West Brook players...Should they go to KELLY to find them???  Legacy???  OOPS...they came from the area High Schools, WB included!! and I still say, as I have stated before...JJ as a WR can be NFL material!!!..... I stated this after watching the Spring game, it seemed like his balls were floating...then everyone wanted to chop my comments up....I don't have to put together any numbers to compare to the QB's that are on scholarship at Lamar vs the Class of 2010 QB's from SETX high schools....I can do that in my head...NO COMPARISON... As for the future...my money is on a JUCO transfer, Prewitt, or Louis(if he can stay healthy) to be the QB next year. Sorry, I just feel it will take JJ a couple of more years to develop the arm strength needed to start...
From what i saw in PA, WB has 1 kid on defense LU could use...Kelly has 3------just saying......you seen legacy?  might have some good players there also, PAM qb is college material for sure..but not at qb 5A vs 2a vs Tapps doesnt always mean sucess in college...best rb i've seen this year is Tapps--Barrow at Pius, with Barber being up there pretty hi also what you want sarge, the whole def from WB?  I could care less if they come from Brarrow,Alaska ..5A, 4A Tapps, 6 man) if they can tackle....I'm glad we have local kids, dont get me wrong...but dont rely on just local agree with you on the qb.., i think at least 10 of em at LU were high school qb LOUIS?????  he's gone
Didn't know Louis was gone... IMO the difference from pvt-5A is huge!!...especially for QB... 5A, IMO, is closest to College Ball...then it becomes coaching/off-season programs...but that's just my opinion..I don't sit behind a computer, having never played this sport, etc... and rate football PLAYERS because of their physical presence...I measure football players by their on field performance first, then efforts in practice, then work ethic during off season, and FINALLY heart ALL YEAR ROUND!... We forgot about some of these qualities....don't worry I'm going to bring them back. ;)
of course there is a huge diff in 5A vs small private ..what i'm saying is dont immediately dump on a kid cuz he's not 5A
