I have two sisters living in Vidor...Feel a little attachment in a way...Pulling for the Pirates.With a win,things could change quickly in Vidor,I saw them play against the Wildcat's...You get a feeling they are just a step away from finding that right combination....Good Luck Pirates..

The only problem with Winning them all is,When you finally lose [b]one [/b] or have a losing season you are no longer fit to be coaching,you are letting the kids down..No it's the parents and fans that feel let down,The kids if left alone and let the coaches do the coaching will be winners on and off the football field with a good coach...JMO... ;)

I don't have a dog in this hunt either,but it looks like to me it's more or less "my kid's better,than your kid",there is competition even on the inside,if you have ever played this game you would know that..If you want a position on the team the best way to get it,is be better than your competition.And you have to keep competing to maintain your position,not only against your opponent,but with the guy who wants your job on the team...Now for the News folks and the press...Good News don't sell newspapers,controversy,dis-contents,He said She said  does...If we all agree you only have ONE person thinking..The news people are a vital and important part of our life,But sometimes it is pushed so far in the milking process it becomes down right comical with the stupidest write ups and boring questions...especially in sports.This conversation actually happened this sports news guy was interviewing a baseball pitcher who had a motorcycle accident and broke his right arm and of course it was his pitching arm,Guess what the yoyo asked him? He was interviewing him at the ball park and said to him "I heard about your motorcycle accident,and how you had broken your right arm (now listen to this question he was asked)..."How is breaking your arm going to interfere with your pitching"....duh ??? ???  come onnnnnnnn man.!!!!!..Hope it works out for the DOG'S and Good Luck on the season...
