the no shaking hands things is something they been doing...it backfired BADLY on them against Houston Lamar lol. in the REAL coin toss, they do shake hands, but in front of everyone, they don't. i guess it shows the public we don't respect you. i don't agree with it, but Friday, i was right there with the boys lol

board kinda quiet this week without them. this is a BIG game for them this week...pretty much lose this game and you are done.

i got PNG winning this. however, i don't think it's gonna be a cake walk. for pn-g, the wr's will win the battle against vidors secondary. i like vidors line to put some heat on the young QB to see how he react. i seen a post talking about mczeal....HE IS NOT THAT FAST. i seen him against silsbee. he's about as fast as PAM's big wr Ricky Thomas. the problem for vidor is the offense is going to spread you out making every defender work harder. imo, png have a four man show on offense. the qb, rb, and #11, and #12. vidor have to pick the poison to stop the passing, which will be more difficult or the run. now i'm not saying play bush league, but you HAVE TO PUT THE KID ON THE GROUND!!! johnson have not been "touched" since the season started. Vidor have to make EVERY possession count. Coach gonna have to reach deep in his bag of tricks to throw the injun defense of balance and try to keep the offense OFF the field. i will say this, vidor, however you deal with PNG, it's going to be just a little bit harder in that last game i'm pulling for Vidor to upset the dancing purple fairies, it's just the slot T going to have to be PERFECT and EXECUTED!!

only because Vidor hasn't had a bye week yet. otherwise, PAM,PNG, and Vidor is tied for first place. good thread, but i would base this on what teams have done over the past 2-3 years. if you wasn't relevant last year or year before and this year you are winning, you should be on the list! (PAM doesn't make this list in this case. this is basically the same team from last year. that should give you some indication of the teams we played. also new coaches did help too this year)

seriously, i don't mean to disrespect any team except for Nederland. However, this game could be sloppy...i don't want to say it, but this could be a trap game with PAM winning ugly. i know everyone, including the whole district is looking forward to the PNG vs PAM game. if we are sloppy with this, i could see a 35-14 win, with 14 of those points coming in the fourth.

okay, i'm gonna just throw myself under the bus...for the city i love and PRIDE in our kids, the drumming Nederland took was personal...however when i feel like you sending little undercover hints towards me and the titan nation so to speak, i shoot back. to be honest, yes everything from the transfer of the PAM kid to stuff dating back when i was in school, the victory was sweet. i know many won't understand it, but that's the best thing MY community will get out of this without "crossing the line" with violence against our neighbors on the other side of 365. if beating them soundly stops us from saying and doing repulsive things, i look forward to PAM kicking their butts EVERY YEAR. i noticed things was getting chippy in the last minutes of the game. Vincent helmet getting ripped off(clearly on his way down ,#10 grabbed the helmet and ripped it off.)...some of the nederland db's was talking to trash to angelle and he pointed to the score board and walked off. so when your city behaves a certain way over the years, be ready to eat you raw road killed crow that been sitting in the 120 sun!!

how is centrals run defense??? i say use the starter and run heavy with the occasional quick screens. not sure why fernandez was yanked, but he's better than nothing.

whats more funny was when PA Lincoln was "undermanned" we didn't cry. nederland enrollments was higher than us, hell one year PN-G went to 5A and two years later, mysteriously returned lol. only thing was when you played in nederland you got screwed even harder...in PA you got a kiss with some spit, but still got screwed. apparently Nederland tried to molest Vidor and fought them off. ONE team i know of PUNCHED NEDERLAND IN THE MOUTH AT HOME AND THAT WAS THE 03 La Marque Cougars. outside of that, you have bulldogs and bad refs.

i wouldn't brag about being king of cupcakeville....IF and really do mean IF we win the DC, so what. that's not our goal or expectations. the expectations are being set now....DOMINATE EVERYONE. why??? because we have the resources to.

people screaming "disrespect"....MC, more nederland than PNG, have "disrespected" us for years. what this win has done for our program is to send a message to all these parents/kids that THINK the grass is greener in MC. hopefully this will have them stay and wait till it's their time. it's so hard to discuss this on this board with out mentioning other things, but if you from PA, you already know what i'm talking about...in other words, besides Fourney, i saw NO kids that "look" like they from PA on offense..hmmmmmm...and the ONE on defense was pretty much a non factor.
