well they were...first of all, why attend PAM scrimmage??? they should be on merriman worried about the "hotshot" QB and the WR with hands of stone...apparently, they are concerned...PAM coaches don't need to go to MC scrimmages...unless for a good laugh

This what I wanted to see. Moving the ball with ease against someone that they easily handle instead of struggling against a team that's equal or less than to PAM.

you don't need people moving in...it has already been said this area have talent...you NEED COACHES TO PUT IN A SYSTEM AND HAVE THE COMMUNITY BUY INTO THAT. what u have down here is schools that have avg to great players, but coaching is keeping them down and don't come at me about some dang district titles and going three rds deep. that's the difference!!!that's the standard here. in other places its not even important to them. until that mentality change expect what we got...yeah yeah, that's the goal for everyone to win a title, but somebody....some coaches gotta stand up and have the balls to say, that isn't the goal. semis or the season is a wash. nobody should be back flipping and storming fields because of a DC or putting the coach on the shoulders for getting them 2-3 rd deep and writing them a fat check cause they threaten to leave.

YOU was making nederland seem "premier" and they are NOT, which is why i said that. and in that first sentence of this quote, THAT IS NOT ENOUGH!! look i HATE MC. however, if they were "state" powerhouses, i would be thrilled to play in a district with them, which is why i think BG wanted PAM to stay in 6A. i rather go to battle and lose a nail bitter to a state power than boast about beating the likes of lumberton, vidor, lee, ozen, and livingston. the other games are more for fans. but we thump our chest around here like we bad by having a DC after beating these teams...meanwhile other parts of the state are saying, that's cute. let it be clear, newton and wos can't help who they face in district and playoffs...i can't stand them, but i can say i don't see them chest bumping after whipping up on the locals or do too much bragging about DC's. they know or i hope they know because of the talent they have, they SHOULD go 4-5 rd deep EVERY YEAR. not to knock them, but it's "small school". wos staff played and coached in bigger classifications and channel that to the players, we might be "small" school, but we play like a 6a mentality. (hopefully this will happen to PAM) you put that with the talent they have plus coaching, they are "elite" in a sense. now add some students to WOS and make them 5a d1, they will become stagnant just like they was when they was in the old 4a.

DEFINE QUALITY. is that going at an avg 2rds deep?? that's what i call SETTLING and you love it. also this area is a joke!!! including PAM when looking at things overall. this is not trash talking about who gonna beat who on friday nights in the area...this is about US as an area. WE ALL SUCK in comparison to houston schools and mid and north texas. hell it seems like just beating the neighbors next door IS the state championship game for this area. it's a reason you keep seeing teams like aledo, denton ryan allen, katy, etc...being talked about. can't call the region bad because of katy and a few others, but this "corner" of the state BLOWS!!

no need to talk in code. parents pull their kids from PAM, IMO, because they feel like their kid should start in what ever sport. hmmmm...black athlete going to a predominate white school, in which he will be stronger and faster than most and should get instant 5 star ratings compared to that kid staying at PAM working his but off and waiting to be the next man up. plain and simple. they will drive out of the way for that foolishness bypassing PAM. a child can get an education at any school. it's whats done at home. PAM have a lot of kids that graduate and excel EXTREMELY well at academics. parents are trying to make a future retirement plan off their damn kids instead of letting them go to school where they are suppose to. and today still what has MC done for me lately is what future parents should consider before running across 365 or twin city and 365 over the tracks.

playing in the cupcake league and preseason softer than toilet paper (okay LM was probably the only real team you played and you let little WOS run you uo and down the field smh). again BULLdog...where is the hardware?? the subject is why THIS AREA is behind...this goes for my team as well, but since you and your cronies trying to make nederland this big bad football machine, more of a weed whacker, nederland and this area will behind. PAM have everything to get going, but coaching, IMO. i know i pick on harrison, but the game seemed to have have passed him by. either he needs to change and keep it moving or let someone else in there. PAM have NEW facilities, athletes, AND due to the MANY D-1 players that have gone on to play and start in college and nfl, they are on the map.

it's your opinion on if nederland is the "premier" athletic program...i don't see D-1 recruiters kicking in nederland doors. you are settling because that list you just listed quenches that pathetic thirst of what you think is "greatness". do you know a REAL program don't even acknowledge things like district titles??? if you were not satisfied, FANS WOULD NEVER EVEN MENTION OR BRAG ABOUT SUCH MEANINGLESS THINGS, unless you KNOW that's about all you are good for. example...when port arthur lincoln basketball DOMINATED the state of Texas from 81 till the closing, WE NEVER CELEBRATED DC!! if the team didn't make it to Austin, FAILED SEASON!!! THE TEAM KNEW IT AND COACHES KNEW IT...WHICH IS WHY THEY HAD THE BEST COACHES. NOT THE PRETTIEST GYM, BUT TOP COACHING.

THAT QUALITY COACH WILL ELEVATE YOU PASS MEDIOCRITY..GET IT?? as far as PAM enrollment, those people are realizing MC is not what it's cracked up to be...oh and those rebuilt schools needed to rebuilt because they were built in the 50's and 60's...the old high schools are still standing for reasons I don't know why. it is recommended that schools get rebuilt after so many years smart guy.

you are satisfied because you choose to praise the "Nederland" coach...you praised everything I talked about. The stadium in LM is irrelevant because they had BETTER COACHING THAN NEDERLAND OR ANY TEAM IN THE AREA AND A COMMUNITY THAT DIDN'T SETTLE FOR MEDIOCRITY...Nederland is one of the schools in the area that are settlers(see the cable commercials). WOS again have superior coaching, but in a classification that they SHOULD do well...again you missed it and is why YOUR community is mediocre...Nederland coaching<WOS coaching= success, field don't matter. it matters when you have NOTHING going for you in comparison to other regions. you won't get people down here with facilities from 1972 therefore staying mediocre.

difference here smart guy PORT ARHTUR has it's own team and supposedly own newspaper...why does Beaumont Enterprise need to support a Port Arthur team??? it's not the Beaumont Titans....as far as your little MC...how aboutget your own paper...Nederland sun or something.

WOSgrad made the last post actually referring to the topic. it's not about PAM or the other schools...it's about THIS AREA AS ONE...and you all showed your arses of WHY we are behind. you are so proud of DCs and how many 2nd and 3rd rounds...before lamarque fell from grace, the fans and players did not care or talked about how many DC or "rounds"...ANYTHING SHORT OF THE SEMI'S WAS A FAILURE!!!! okay, time to settle the heck down...first of all,as one of PAM's hardest critics, lets stop comparing this district to where PAM use to play. at the end of the day it's still 11 vs 11,not PAM whole team vs the other team whole team. the only thing(s) i like about the new district, IF you are going to "compare" the two is, you don't have to worry about our defense going up against a STABLE of big backs that NS has that keep fresh legs in the game. you don't have to worry about seeing a team that run the misdirection FLAWLESSLY like laporte that seems to always have a stud rb. there is no need to worry about a team trying to have a shoot out/ track meet with you like channel view. you don't have to see a deer park team that was BIG ACROSS THE WHOLE TEAM, that ran the ball down your throat. what we do see now are teams that are more EQUAL to us in physical size. now, it's going to come down of who wants it MORE. just because our line is close in size, don't mean our technique is better (it might be. ijs) that doesn't mean just because we come from 6A, the RB can't fumble or the qb can't throw picks. WHAT PAM DOES HAVE IS MORE MOTIVATION!!!!it's NO SECRET that PA despise MC like no tomorrow for many reasons. the coaching staff, especially Harrison KNOWS whats it like to play those two schools..the BS you have to put up with between them and the refs. the kids themselves might not know that foolishness of the past, but the fire in them burns from the "other kids" THINKING MC is/was a better choice...thinking that they could beat a 3-7 PAM team, when PAM was actually in those games. no disrespect to the BMT schools, but they know what it is...Lee, Lumberton, Livingston and Vidor...sorry, from a fans perspective, you are irrelevant...however, i hope the team is focused and the coaching is more focus on mowing you down with no mercy(cobra kai style). those teams are TRAP games imo and should not be taken lightly by PAM. i think what the poster meant and i agree, WE all know a scrimmage doesn't "count". however, anytime you compete and have "scoring plays", it's a win and loss situation to the players. that helps boost them up. now i will say this applies imo when playing a simulated game scrimmage. in a traditional scrimmage you score on "6th down" or "10 th" down, you really can't count that lol

same DC we had in 2011?? that was the BEST PAM defense.
