i say nate holmes, but yeah James Johnson wasn't no slouch and he did it when PAM was playing mega high schools and in a tough district. i was saying holmes cause that was the deepest playoff run. too many variables between holmes, dauphine and hines. holmes had the luxury of having a TRUE dual threat QB and had Romar in the back field with him. so that opened things up for him. as mentioned, Dauphine had bad play calling but was a man child with some fumble issues. hines would be the third best cause he wasn't big, but strong(he chucked a highly toted PNG LB like it was nothing lol), but kid had SPEED and FOOTWORK.

also lets not forget that last years New Caney game, PAM killed themselves!! not to take away anything from New Caney, but from coaching to players, PAM could not get it together!! record setting penalties. Coach stopped giving Cheney the ball cause NC could not stop him and no, he wasn't hurt cause he stayed in the game. I think we could of..no should have beaten NC by 10 or less!!

I know Buddy and others that are closer to the program will disagree and this is by no means me "picking on a kid", but the QB position concerns me. Now I'm on the kids side...us short guys gotta stick together....with that being said, PAM's history of having a 5'7-5'-9' QB doesn't turn out well. Last time remember this happening, our passing game was non existent!! Singlton was the only QB I remember being "short" for the position that was a success. Can this kid throw the ball accurately and down the field?? any film on him??
