1. Met eastbucfan and steelercrzy at the state games while watching football with Liltex.  They call me on my cell phone while they were sitting in the section above us.  Eastbucfan says, "stand-up so we can find you".  Heck I was already standing in the seat trying to see.... ;D ;D  Good thing Litltex was wearing that ugly Dayton purple sweater, they may never have found us.  Nice to meet you and yes I completely agree with each of you, PNG and WOS still suck!  ;) ;) ;)  ;D ;D ;D  At least that's what I think you both said....  ;D ;D
 2. Real football is Played East of the Trinty!  or somewhere near Dallas........ ;)
 3. I just hope BH can hang with Aledo next year.....man they were good!  ;D ;D
 4. Tronity was very big, but they were not deserving a #1 national ranking.  They made a lot of mistakes in the 1st half and their runningback was not near the back Jonathan Gray is for Aledo.  My opinion. Having said that, Pearland was far smaller and has less overall talent, but they played more sound football than did Trinity.
 5. I am not sure who decided # 1 was a better running back than # 24, but they need their head examined.  Coldsprings was way over-matched in ability and coaching.  Congrats on a great season to both teams.
 6. MR. Jonathan Gray, what else can you say?  That kid is a stud and only a junior, from what they said.  9 TD's and a whole lot of ability.  Now if I can just get him to fix a decent cup of coffee because this hotel coffee sux!  3 more games today after a tour of Traders Village.
 7. Well, loading up bright and early with a Dayton fan and headed North to Jerry's World.  Staying at Wyndham Las Colinas, if anyone happens to wonder in their Sports Bar after the game.  They had rooms for $62 plus Jerry's "pay-me tax" totaling $78 bucks, should anyone needs a hotel.  That price was on www.Tavelocity.com and the facility looks to be real nice. Like I said, I am riding with a Dayton guy, so if you see a truck on I-45 North pulling a horse trailer with 3 goats, 4 chickens, and a box full of Dayton ISD lap top computers, honk at us!  ;D ;D ;D  Also look for the shoe-polish that is faded and says something about "54 reasons........."    ;D ;D ;D
 8. That first team QB has some impressive stats.  Hope he is going to A&M........  ;) ;)

Always get a kick out of this. Was smoking baby the 1st winner.
Much like the rankings each season, you start with a limit number of votes, drop your first vote for WOS, then work your way towards the mighty Trinity River.  Most homoers are out of votes before they get to Hamshire, so I'll just keep plugging away WOS style, one win short of anything meaningful.....  ;D ;D ;D
Unfortunately, your writing is more Barbers Hill style, it has not near the talent that you believe it to have.  But fear not, oh vertically challenged one, you will always have your 12th grade English teacher to blame for not properly coaching you up.
;D ;D ;D ;D That was bad now that i read it....... ;D ;D ;D  OK, so one mistake ever..... ;D
 10. I'll be there for all games.  Not sure what hotel, but if it has an exterior window I might not say.  Don't want someone from Coldsprings mixing me up with a goat at 2AM after a win.......  ;D ;D ;D

Love reading the board and all the chatter, but haven't fished offshore much--count me in if it is not too late.
You are more than welcome.  We will have to reschedule due to weather, so i will include you in that invite.  Check back frequenty, as it will likely be January when we try and go.
Will we still be going in state waters or maybe farther out?  Guess it depends when we go out as well, huh?
Yes, unfortunately Federal Snapper Season is closed until next summer (usually June 1st).  Texas does not agree with the feds, so Texas allows us to fish for snapper year around.  The state water boundry is from inshore out 9 nautical miles, which is equivellant to driving your car 10.35 miles.  Depending on everyone's schedule, we may try and go a little farther down the coast to get offshore.  The farther south we go, the deeper the water gets near shore.  If any of you are going to the State Championship games in Jerry's World, we can discuss ideas.  Ideally it would be great to go out of Port Aransas or at least Port Oconner for bigger fish.  Of course we can get by with Galveston if we have too.

 15.
Looks like you guys might catch some rough weather.        :-\
All depends on the front that is approaching.  Right now, for what thats worth, the wind is expected to be an onshore flow begining on Saturday.  If the forecast holds, Saturday should be Ok.  Sunday is not looking good.  Again, fronts tend to slow down and/or speed up, so will have to watch it.

Weekend Fishing Trips will be out of Galveston Yacht Basin Trip will be offshore fishing (weather permitting) targeting snapper and whatever else we can catch.  We will fish all-day. Trip will be limited to within 9-miles of shore due to snapper regulations (State Water Only) Limit is 4 snapper per person, due to regulation.  We may find a few grouper, kings, and other species as well. All tackle provided, unless you just want to bring a favorite pole Cost will be evenly split between fishermen.  Estimated at $30-$40 per person. Trip is limited to 4 people per trip and you must be a SETXsports subscriber.  Will do 2 days if we have enough fishermen for 2 trips. Boat is a 26-foot twin-vee catamaran offshore boat with twin 175 suzuki's and top of line electronics/safety equipment. If your interested, reply here and check back as we firm up details.
I enjoy fishing, but if it means going with you and your boisterous mouth....I'll pass. Thanks anyway. I'll stay on this side of the Trinity.
Little bitter there are we.........  ;D ;D ;D  I understand, it comes with being over-rated then getting beat to death every year......  ;D ;D ;D
 17. Someone put my arms and abs on that kid.....who has phot-shop? As for the game, I say CC rolls and I am NEVER worng  ;D(wrong) ;D.

BH has more talent returning on both sides of the ball than does Dayton. 2. Dayton is losing almost every key player, except the QB and he is not as good as either BH QB. 3. Deny is going to be a Div-1 athlete.  Townley is talented enough you could see a two QB system next year. 4. I expect Townley and/or Deny will play some defense next year in situational circumstances. 6. BH's O-Line and D-Line will be bigger than any other district team. 5. Dayton and BH will be the best two teams in district and BH will be better. Last but not least, because I have a crystal ball.   ;)
1 2 3 4 6 5 <---there you have it folks.... result of a BH diploma  ;D Sorry could't resist  :-*
Oh crap 5 comes before 6?  I need to call the math dept. and get that straight.
It's football and that's a reverse play.....boy see what you know!   ;D ;D ;D
Just goes to show you...What's Real on the Hill.... ;D....I bet you guys also win to play the game.. :D
Why sure, that's how you get to State.  Keep winning to play....... ;D ;D ;D  And you wonder why West Brook and others keep falling off early.......  ;D ;D
 20.
Katy is a great team and has been for a long time. Great job Pearland. Good luck the rest of the way. I can see why the croud was so large. Two good teams. Great game.
Good thing this was not played in a dome, you might have just pulled 8-inches of vacuum on the structure......... ;D ;D ;D
 21.
Click the link above, and decide for yourself... ;)
We do kid fish events for Texas Association of Bass Clubs.  Not may Rainbow Trout around here except when the TPWD stocks them during winter/eary spring for a short term fishing opportunities.  They don't live long in warm water. Might as well jump on the boat and go fishing with us.
 22.
Hehehehehhhh...  just testing the water.  Real glad you have ladies involved on here... in fact one of the websites I run is called Fishing with Sabrina Stratford, a native Texan, who now resides in Colorado and chases a variety of species with a flyrod.  A passion of mine is getting women and children back outdoors, so it's great you all are of the same mind. ;)
Depending on what she looks like,  might chase her with my flyrod too!  ;D ;D
 23.
After yesterday's events, I think there are some folks who owe Coach Stump and his staff a HUGE apology.
All it proves is WB can't play with anyone outside Beaumont and is always over-rated.  They are the bigger West Orange of SE Texas.  ;) ;)
