1. Welcome to the West Side of the Trinity...... ;)
 2. I agree, PNG won't be squat, the same with everyone else except Livingston. BH will have 22 or 23 returning.  That's number depends on how much effort Stewart puts forth to recruit Townley away from BH (watch what happens here folks).  Denny (Freshman starting QB) will be returning as a Sophmore and be a stud if he stays healthy.  Got some real talent moving up to fill bench spots and a starting spot here and there.  The lines should be loaded again.  We will win district next year and get past the area round.
 3. I called this blow-out during the wednesday preview show............Soulja you still wearing that shirt?   ;D ;D ;D Congrats PNG on a good season.
 4. This was a fun game, even more fun getting to the stadium and finding a seat.  Whoever scheduled these two teams in a 4-A stadium should be shot on site.  There had to be 2 or 3 thousand who just said the heck with it and turned away, whihc was good because there were a ton of people who never got a seat.  As for the game, Neither team dominated, and NS had more athletes, but NO QB to speak of.  Katy's running back runs hard and hits like a mule kicks.  I am not sold on Katy beating Pearland.  That may be more interesting than people think.

Throw in a bunch of single-wide computer stealers from Dayton who hang out at Sonic with their video cameras, and you have a redneck reunion. Did I mention in all that, PAM will get beat to death this week?
You forgot one thing smoking baby "The Hill Is For Real" ;D
woops, my bad  ;D ;D ;D ;D
 6. Manvel blows PNG out!  AND, Soulja blows the rest....LOL
 7. I remember a day when ATM machines functioned in ONLY english and people waved when you passed them on the highway.  Yea, BH has a lot of trophies, and YES that is far more, in every sport, than any other current school in region III.  The new expansion will inlude a buiding for all the new and future trophies, as well as a lead time capule for the ugly ars uniforms that started it all.

 13. Yall bering the popcorn, I'll bring the smokes.  I am just looking forward to watching some BH baseball.  All this discussion about catchers reminds me of watching Clay McWilliams.  Now that kid had a rocket of an arm and one heck of a bat.  Don't know squat about "POP", but if the guy on 1st blinked twice he was OUT.  Most never got the chance to run to 2nd.  BH has had some very good defensive and offensive catchers the last several years.  BH 2011 District Champs.
Did you really just say that? ;D ;D If BH didnt drop the ball on the 6, didnt have a delay of game on the 4 yard line and didnt chunk the ball down the field on 2nd down and down by 1 TD BH would have taken that game by a TD
Famous words of Eagle07 "Coulda shoulda woulda....If my Aunt had balls, she'd be my Uncle." PNG left more then 28 point on the field they should've scored also.
Why is PNGFan still on a BH football thread. Better worry about Willis and not this discussion. 23. Seeing the lights of an unfamiliar stadium light up the sky from a few miles away.  Driving down a road your not sure goes to the stadium, but the lights are guiding your way.  You roll the windows down to hear the drums and horns while the crisp air fills the car.  As you get closer you can see the haze of the fall air creating a glowing ring around each light pole and hear the muffled sound of the announcer giving way to a loud cheer.  The closer you get the faster your heart beats and the excitement takes over. Then, without warning you find you are at the wrong damn stadium, watching the wrong damn team, and they don't have jalapenoes for the nachose that are getting cold. Well the first part was inspiring.  ;D ;D ;D
 24.

I think BH fans also need to consider what happened to their talent base after 2006.  Dayton started playing Barbers Hill around 2001 or 2002.  The senior group of 2006 had A LOT OF TALENT, but after that BH just didn't have that much athletic talent for many years.  Dayton beat BH at the junior high level for a few years really badly (combined scores for the 4 games were like 120 to 14), however the 10th grade bunch and the 9th grade bunch were MUCH IMPROVED!  The Ponies still won a majority of the games, but the games were closer.  The 10th grade QB (IMO) was the best athlete that I saw from BH.  Gage does have talent to work with (even though they are 9th and 10th graders) that ran dry during Price's last few years.  BH will continue to improve over the next few years just due to the fact that the talent coming into the high school is much better.  Glad it worked out for BH this year, especially after the stampede in Dayton.  You have to give Gage a lot of credit for winning out in district after his first district game was an unqualified disaster.
very true. Talent has went down a bit and from what ii see in school the kids coming in arnt getting any bigger
The only team we played this year bigger overall was Santa Fe.  If they get any bigger we're gonna need a bigger bus and larger lunch trays.  ;D ;D
 25. Well, last weekend of snapper season.  We picked up our limit of snapper, a 62 lb grouper, several beeliner, and some triggers. ] Uploaded with ] ] Uploaded with ]
