Maybe you will get your shot next year, if you make the playoffs.  ;)

 6. Same thing killed a class mate of mine.  Always SAD.  I assume they tried defib in the ambulance.  As a medic, I can tell you sometimes it works, sometimes not.  Very sad for everyone involved.
 7.
Yall didn't learn even after that other PN-G/BH thread was taken down?
No ikidding.  They are acting like a 40 year old man in a pink shirt.  ;D ;D
 8. Will they serve a hamburger to a guy in a pink shirt?
 9. Saw one today near the Kingwood Park campus, it said, "Dayton.....We Be Your Daddy!"  ;D ;D ;D
 10.
Let me guess. The new slogan for next year will be "THE HILL IS FOR REAL"...LOL... JK. Looks like you guys will have a quality program next year. Good luck Eagles!!!
Actually we are just rubbing the political buttons so we get ranked ahead of WOS and Nederland at the beggining of the 2011 season..........  ;D

Some school districts do have contracts and they do abide by them. Dodge will no doubt have the pick of the litter.
I agree Patty, there are schools who abide by their contracts, but don't think for a second that a lot of schools would find their way out of a contract to hire Dodge...
there's always that hidden clause  :D
Yep, it's called "we owe you how much?  OK, here it is, hit the road"  BH used that one recently.  ;)
 12.
You guys are right! I got some video of #33 7 minutes after a play was blown dead.  [img][Hidden Content]]
That's Stewart at EVERY Dayton game........ ;D
 13. One more thing.  I was just watching the Rocket Power Dancers during a station break.  I vote we NEED some of those too!  In an effort to support BH, if there is not enough practice area at the school, they are MORE THAN WELCOME to practice in my house or in the back yard.  I am SURE my male neighbors won't mind, at least they won't after their divorse in final........... ;D ;D ;D
 14. Hard to imagine "Home of the Fighting Eagles" with a tu tu wearing bird............  >:( >:(  The glitter hat even made it worse.  The "Hill is for Real" and our sequin and lace chicken was not! In the upcoming BH electoral vote I am voting for: 1. New uniforms from a time after Columbus Sailed the Seven Seas!  2. Pluck the Richard Simmons chicken and return the Fighting Eagle! ;D ;D
 15. P.S.  If we WUSIFY our freaking Mascot again next year I am going to pluck that  costume.  Geez louis, what the heck is a freaking mascot doing in a "censored" at a playoff game AND what the heck is up with that BOWE on an Eagles head??????  ??? ???  >:( That's almost as bad as that former goober band director coming in and changing the freaking school song!!!!!!  >:(   "Come on Man!"
 16.
Tis the season for upsets Goobers take this one ! Crosby reinvents their "D" and Merka hires a P.I. for his receivers to track down a football so they can see what one looks like ! ;)
Heck, if they would jusr run their routs it would be an improvement.  I can attest, Merka can throw the ball deep and on-spot.  He has greatly improved over last season.  He's just got a lot on his shoulders not having much to stand with him.
 17. "Wanted to teach at Dayton"....................  Stewart teach that terminology to all citizens of Dayton or just the realtors?  ;D ;D ;D
 18.
Our last round two loss in 04' was to... Palestine?
Yeah but yall beat WOS and that's all that mattered.  ;D
 19. All that matters is what you do between now and Saturday.  All this historical stuff is starting to sound like WOS over there in the edge of the piny woods.  Be honest, after what KP did to Brenham, you got to be a bit worried.  Represent 19-4A well Ol'e Purple Ones.......  Your probably our best bet for a 19-4A win this weekend. P.S.  If Dayton wins this weekend, poor Brenhamfan is going to need more tissue.  :'( :'(
 20. Season at a glance: The season started off with almost a complete new coaching staff.  A completely different offense was installed.  22 or 23 of the Eagles are underclassmen.  Three quality, but very different QB's fighting for #1 spot.  The pre-season pick for QB was overshadowed by excellent play from K. Denny who is a freshman and new to BH schools.  His dad is the new baseball coach taking over for long-time coach Gill Staulbaum. Receivers moved from the spread to running back and a few new ones stepped in.  Defensive leadership was found in Senior Bellard, and Senior safety Morton made a name for himself on both offense and defense.  Morton brought back memories of the Mason Fisher high-flying catches many of us remember.  The defense started off a little slow, however after getting a "beating" (as Coach Gage Put it) they played very good defense and allowed very few points the next several games.  Offensively they started out rusty, but still managed to beat Nederland, and ended up with only 1 district loss and captured 2nd place in district.  Should have won their first playoff game, but turnovers and a few really bad penalties kept them down, as had happened in the Dayton game.  A 3rd and inches play-call did not help matters either, but we all wished we had something back. Overall the team exceeded expectations by most. The future is bright for Bh with 22 or 23 returning next season, with most key players returning.  There are a number of players expected to step-up in the varsity role and a lot of very young kids who are already there.  I assume the offense will gain complexity as the kids get used to the basics and we will see more pass/run balance as the kids develop.  Experience, talent, and quality coaching should take the Eagles well into the playoffs next season.  The kids have really taken to this new staff and the staff seems to really be interested in the kids.  As it often is in Region III, just depend on who you draw and who wants it more.  Exciting times on the "Ant Mound"......."Bump"........"Hill".....or whatever you want to call us.
 21.

Don't jump on me as a Hater. look to my reasoning. I going to pick KP by 1 so basically think im picking any score. Reasoning is this... whats the MOST dangerous team in the playoffs? A CONFIDENT ONE. WHO IS MORE CONFIDENT THEN KP right now. they could have easily folded muiltiple times to Brenham and didn't. also you look at the Dayton/Brenham efforts from last week and theirs 1 difference... Dayton made the plays to win the game and Brenham didn't i partially think this is because Dayton has a better offense. BUT! KP has a VERY good offense. and a decent defense. i think that Daytons D has thier first major test of the year and gives up 30. (I know how unbelievable) and i think they get 4 TDS but lose a really close one. However i hope Dayton wins. 19-4a needs to keep our reputation up.
scoreboard...
That pretty much sums up ole nut case.  Always yelling at someone.  :o
 22. WOW....how did we get down that road.  Heck I am a white boy who can break dance and I don't fit in either....... ;D ;D OK, 10,300 views.........time for locking and classic move..... ;) ;)
 23. Quality coaching, for sure.  Injury bugs have been biting.
Woops, your right.  I must have sounded like a west orange fan..... ;D ;D
