OK folks, the Marine Fisheries Council has all but formally passed a proposal to re-open the Red Snapper season for the Gulf of Mexico.  The reason for reopening is 1. quotas not met; 2. BP oil spill closed large areas in guld during season.

[/quote] When I dug the Trinity River several years ago it was the intent to keep people in or near Orange from migrating this way.  It was never intended for the "Surprize" to not be delivered to Dayton, however there have never been any kids in the Golden Triangle area with a sufficient arm to throw the paper accross the river.  Vidor realized this a few years ago and went to a very good running attack.  Well, back to the reason, the distance accross the river is what what cut-down on advertising so the paper stopped covering Dayton and Liberty.

Small icechest for fish. Fish will be cleaned and bagged if you want to have the fish cleaner do this (nommally 4-8 bucks per person).  You can take your fish if you want.  Normally we clean all fish and divide the meat up evenly between fishermen. [b]What not to bring:[/b] Large bags, tackleboxes, glass containers. [b]What's provided:[/b] Lunch, water, ice, fuel, boat, captain, dead-bait, live-bait, rod-n-reels, tackle, and a good time. [b]Cost:[/b] PM me.  Depends on # of fisherman, but not expensive. 5 fishermen is the limit.
