Oh, I see now. If the Stangs were doing well, you would be all over their success, saying how important the 7 on 7 is to the program. 4.
Just in case no one seen this in the other forum....   Dayton Broncos Coach: Jerry Stewart (125-48 at Dayton, 144-65-3 overall) 2009 Record:  11-3, 6-1 (19-4A District Runner Ups, 4A Division II Regional Finalist) Although the 2009 Dayton Broncos were unable to match the championship game appearance of 2008, they were far from a failure as Jerry Stewart's young squad, which was told they were too young to compete, shook off a loss in district to rival Crosby and embarked on a four week run through the 4A Division II playoffs which was ended by eventual state finalist Brenham.  Coach Stewart returns 11 starters with the intent of regaining the district championship and making another run at a state title. 7.
Guess you've never eaten Gar cooked by somebody that knows how.Best fish I ever ate alot of was blackened mullet.I know what you think as I said the same thing.Turns out mullet fillets are $12.00 lb.in Florida and in Georgia there's a place that folks stand in line like Frank's Cafe to endulge in mullet.Owner got ticketed by game warden for having 77 (2 over the daily bag limit of 75).Fought it & went to court w/his bible and told the judge he could prove he actually caught 0 fish that day because in the bible a mullet would be a fowl because a fish does not have a gizzard.Case closed just like BH beating Dayton anytime while Coach Stewart is in control.I figured since the broncos have been king of football I wanted to see if kingfish are good fighters on a zebco 33 ??? ;) ;D
Great Post!  I love the references.  It's nice seeing someone with a sense of humor and half a brain, considering the other option is downgoesfrazier......... ;) ;)  I am aware of the fact mullet is a in high demaind Florida, but only the good LORD knows why.  Fact is anyone who has eatin the imitation crab meat has consumed gar.  Trust me, if you want to tear up a snoopy pole on a nasty kingfish, or queen trigger, or just fowl hooking frazier, it's OK by me.  Either way I'll put you on the boat and you can fish your heart away.  Only two rules, no bananas and you can't bring questionable pictures of Frazier hugging a hot dog. Boat leaves the dock this Sunday! As for BH beating Dayton, when Price was coaching (woops...while Price was drawing a check) I would agree with you, Stewart, and anyone else with half a brain (not you Frazier), but this is a new time, a new coach, and a lot of returning players.  This is Crosby's last year to win district and Dayton's not "on the rise."  Dayton is going to find touchdowns like mullet gizzards, hard to find and it may take the bible to get one when BH takes the field.  ;D ;D All kidding to the side, if you want to go fishing send me a PM.

 10. Wimberly spanking WOS was a good one. One of the most competitive games was Jasper vs. Gilmer at SFA about 5 years ago.  By the way, Jasper got shafter by the refs on a TD play.

 12. Instead they want to argue who is better, so one can fictionally thump their chests until game day when the preconceived notions are obliterated by truth. ~ Whats irritating is your monster ego - and your oxy-moronic statements I never heard anybody say we were better than Ike. And aren't these boards meant to be for opposing teams to argue which team is better.( not according to you )You and your x-5a buds come on here over and over and over bragging about all of the ocean of athletes Ike has like were supposed be intimidated or something and when were not you call us insecure.  Lets talk about that real discussion between the mis-matches - funny you never brought them up one time ? ( and no coaches and discipline don't count )
My monster ego?  I am arguing against the opinion that Dayton was slightly over-matched, and the idea that the athletic discrepancy between the two schools was much larger then was being presented by the opposing view. They only reason i inserted my view on the topic was because of i have seen Ike play...been watching them for the better part of 15 years...and am fairly familar with their style of play. Ike isn't a team that is a monster machine, they haven't been truly good since 2003.  They are merely a shadow of what they were.  Dayton can win the game, and i think i have made that clear in previous posts....The only thing i saw as faulty thinking on the behalf of the Dayton faithful is the insecure stance that Dayton can match up with anyone athletically....it simple just isn't true. I don't expect you to be intimidated....you are Dayton.  No one should scare you, and i am fully aware of that.  Dayton plays great football, and the fact that some of your fans are regurgitation this sort of insecurity in criticism is odd.   If i were to say the same things to Katy, their fans would say "You are right....But We are Katy" .   If Dayton is truly as good as yall believe and truly as good as your record demonstrates....Then let it go.   You are Dayton, stop acting like Port Arthur.
Don't give the purple too much credit.  They are a team of the past, not the future.  Rightfully so, they deserve credit, but that is not going to last after this and next year.  cROSBY IS THE BIG BOY THIS YEAR, WITH bh AND kING MAKING A RUN FOR THE TOP.  dON'T FORGET gcm EITHER.

I'm glad to see that you got a little time for some fishing.  I'm sure you caught your limit of zipper fish and one eyed trouser trout.  I'm pretty sure you have no interest in actually betting because you and I both know that BH has no chance of beating Dayton.  Your hot dog bets have been just a thinly veiled attempt at picking up dudes on the internet.  But if you'd like to make a real bet I've got one for you.  How about $1000 Dayton vs. BH.  Not some internet BS bet, but we meet prior to the game cash in hand.  I know you can afford it.  You're from BH, so you must be rich.  I have no interest in your money, because panhandling in Austin can be quite lucrative. There is NO chance that Crosby will NOT win district this year.  Merka is an equalizer and they have a fairly deep running game.  I don't like them anymore than anyone else, but it's a fact.  Get the Hot Dogs ready! If you are enjoying a hot dog during the Eagles first district game (probably topped off with Grey Poupon) I hope you have a large amount of Pepcid AC, because I sense a serious dose of heart burn as reality once again hits the Hill. Need I remind you of Barbers Hill record against Dayton since moving up to 4A.... As for Crosby, when they play Dayton it will be a war.... Only time will tell who the winner of that game will be, if Dayton gets through their pre-district schedule healthy, it won't be good news for any team in 19-4A.
That hot dog, heart burn or not, is going to taste great knowing someone from Dayton had to buy it.   ;) ;) I swear, you Dayton folks are reminding me more and more of West Orange Stark.  All they got to talk about is historical issues.  What is most impressive is how everytime another team beats them they praise the other team as if they have accomplished something great and are a very tough team, al of a sudden. Until after Crosby spanked you, they sucked by most Dayton fans account.  Same way WOS bashed Kirbyville for so many years, until Kirbyville beat them.  BH should have spanked you, had it not been for very poor coaching.  When are you going to learn I am never wrong?  Bet your bank account or gamble your pig: Crosby BH Dayton GCM/Lee By the way, Barbers Hill has a new auction site where they sell outdated or surplus items.  Pass it along to your football team they can pick up a laptop for about $60 or so.  Hate for someone to get in trouble over laptops again.   ;D ;D   Got to love a little pre-season smack!
You're right, you should've spanked us and our first-game-to-ever-start-quarterback.  ::) But instead you got a taste of things to come (this year) in that third quarter and hate when PURPLE 4EVER brings it up. Coaching is part of the game just like officiating is, which coincidentally made a very close call taking a TD away in the corner of the endzone which I believe would have gave us a 14 or 21 pt lead and this wouldn't even be a conversation. As far as historical issues go talking about a state title run in '86 and deep runs  the past 3 years (semis, finals, quarters) is hardly the same thing. Okay, I'm ready.... tell me how good BH is in all the other sports.
Oh No, "other sports" don't matter now.  Tell all those people in purple to put their goats away and get off that stump.  BH and Crosby are coming to put a whippin on ya....  ;D ;D
I hear you bh89-2, its great to see BH has a positive attitude. I have ran my lines, fed the sheep (sheep are more tame than goats), sold the axels off of my pre-manufactured home, brushed my tooth, put on my Sunday go to meet'n overalls, and kissed my wife/cousin good night. Now I have the time to tell ya'll that Crosby will go back to where they belong and BH doesn't have a chance to beat either team.
Now thats funny!  Glad to see someone has a sense of humor on here.  ;D ;D ;D
