Indian Fan, You may want to check into this because it did happen to Cleveland just not to the extreme that was stated. It was in the mid 80's and it was basketball not football. They were able to play UIL games but they did have some games played where no fans were allowed to enter the gym. During this time frame Cleveland had some very good teams. I do not remember the exact year but would say between 82 and 85. This resulted from a very bad fight where most of the blame was placed, and I guess proven to have been caused by the Cleveland supporters. Your right, it was basketball......I am still thinking football after BH's lengthy playoff run into December.... ;D ;D

It's not been all that long ago that Cleveland was not allowed to play UIL football due to their fans getting out of control. All that inbreeding must increase testosterone levels. ;D

A friend of mine son plays linebacker for Lake Travis and he says they are better this year than last. Go figure..... LT by at least 21.

Like I said many years ago, until Price is gone, we will not advance through the playoffs. A spread offense required more athletic ability and right now we don't have it. Combine that with conservative play calling and we get what we have had for the past seeral years. A decent football team that is either larger than it's competition (3-A) or a below average football team ina a very bad district (4-A). Watch some Liberty Hill film if you want to know how to win with small non-athletic players. FIRE PRICE PLEASE!

I'll tell you exactly what will happen. We will go into the spread offense and before Carmona drops back 3 steps he will have two purple uniforms laying on him. It will be another mass attack on the QB, such as BH saw against Kirbyville and we never adjust to it. Assuming he does try to run or throw the ball, the team speed Dayton has will not allow any of it to happen. Dayton 40+ BH 7. Oh yeah, Dayton's coaching is MUCH better. There you go HillGuy, just for you.

One other prediction. These teams are full of hot-heads from the staff down. You can be sure there will be at least 1 fight in this game. Also, one or both coaches will make unprofessional commens in the Baytown Sun the next day. This is their style of coaching and play.

I think there will be very few "Poodles" for the dog catcher to tend too. ;D ;D ;D I have seen Crosby play 3 games and I was not as impressed with their running game as Stewart. Passing is Crosby's game and they are fair at it. Crosby's defense will allow a lot of yards if Dayton plays 1/2 as good as they are capable of. Dayton wins this one by 14 or more. Crosby's special teams is pretty good too. Having said this, these arethe only two competative teams in district and it should be a good game

Flks, I have to deliver supplies from Houston to Total Port Arthur tomorrow afternoon. Does anyone know if hwy 73 between Wnnie over to the west side of the Rainbow Bridge is clear for travel? Freeport 7/27/08 Sunday had 3 dolphin in the 10# range and a ton of chickens. 4 limits of snapper between 8 and 17 lbs. Two ling, one was 74 lbs and the other just a keeper. Hooked up a wahoo under grass on a cedar plug and another fish hit the line and cut the line. One small strawberry grouper. No AJ's this trip. Little rough Sunday so we were limited on our first run to 28 miles, not much action so ran to about 45 miles. Going again this Thursday if we can get good seas. Headed to intersection if we have 1-2's. PNG Proud burn a day vacation and ride along if you want. We can bad mouth WOS for 8-10 hours and catch some fish......LOL

Thanks for the info. I did not know they took that part. That is good because I know a little pond just down form their that is full of big bass and not visible from the water.
