You won't find anyone predicting a 21-4A sweep or a blow-out. Galena Park has the best chance in the playoffs going Div-1. BH has the second best chance with central, but it pretty much over after that. Crosby has it's backs against the wall with grade issues and a tough Dayton team. Jags.......if Central loses you best be on here Saturday giving props to BH.

I hear tell that Crosby lost their star receiver to grades #84 and may have lost others. If this is true, sure won't help their cause against a very good Dayton team.

I will say they make it to Brenham and that will be one heck of a game. Brenham is very good, so it will take a stellar play by the Broncos to win. If you can get out of the region, then anything is possible. I am rooting for the Broncos :!: :!: :!:

I did not want to hijack a thread, but Durio (hope I spelled that right) was mentioned in another area. Just wondering what you Dayton folks think about the comparision between these two. Also, what happened to Durio? That kid was freaking fast :!: :!: Did he play elsewhere? Does anyone from Dayton recall a kid that played RB by the last name of Peoples? He may have played for Anahuac, but I thought it was Dayton. It seems like it was in the late 80's or early 90's.

Hard to argue Mosley, but I think this person deserves the recognition for his performance Friday. Blake Patton - QB Barbers Hill Took his team into the locker room at 1/2 down 22 to 0 and scored 28 unanswered points to win in overtime 22 to 28. Blake ran and scored 3 TD's, including the game winner in OT Passed for 1 TD Blake ran for a 2 point conversion Had 221 yards on 37 carries (nearly 6.0 yard average)

Let's hope the offense leaves it all on the field, win or loose. No time to be conservative. The BH backfield is going to have to step it up this week. Hopefully they play # 12 more on defense than last week. Finally, let's hope we win the turnover battle in a big way.

Mr. Mosley is awsome, no doubt. For his size that kid can flat move downfield and runs hard. Since your game in on Saturday can we borrow him to play Central on Friday?

I read all this and just laugh. The same area that is so sure BH is going to get destroyed in this game didn't give Dayton a chance in their new district. I have seen Dayton play and I have also seen other "real 4-A teams" play and let me tell you this, we are both in weak districts. Central or BH, whoever wins, will likely draw LaMarque the next game. Their offensive and defensive lines average somewhere near 300 lbs. Do they have speed.......well let me tell you. You say speed kills, well so does a 300 lb lineman laying on Antion fast as lightning man with his pink air jordans. Blow smoke elsewhere and come play ball Friday. By the way, Houston Sterling was from "West of the Trinty" too.

West Brook has been over-rated since day one. They get hammered by a pretty good Pasadena team. All the offense in the world won't make up for their lack of defense.

Crosby is coming in this game playing their best football. They are going to have to play the best game of their season to have a shot at Dayton. This is a rivalry game and might be a better game than most predict. I don't see the coogs pulling this one out, but they will play hard and they are VERY WELL coached, even though their coach is quite vocal and opinionated. That as nice as I can put that...... Dayton by 14

The only way Nederland wins this game is if Mosley has a career night. I have not doubt Galena Park will give up big yards on the ground, but they can also put up a lot of points on their own. This game will come down to how well Galena Park executes their passing game and if their defense can slow Mosley down. No one else has, so I doubt they will. Too close to call, but I think GP has a good chance at a win.

Central is one of two teams that I have not seen play out of these two districts. BH's coaching staff is going to have to step it up and run a better offensive plan than they have for the past two weeks. The players will have to not make mistakes. This could be a very good game and I think Central fans might just be looking past this one.

Galena Park hands down. Any school that has a jumbotron and is nice enough to have the Blue and Grey game come to your field, must be the nicest. Silsbee is ok, but the access/egress into and out of the stadium and parking is not very user friendly.

Tell it like it is 34'sdad. Hope your not working tonight, but if you are my cell will be one me. Hillguy We all gripe about the play calling from time to time, so don't worry about that. We wouldn't be true fans if we didn't care what plays are being called and when. I think this team has something we have been missing for a few years and that is team leadership and emotion. They are fired up from the school song to the last play. Especially the defense. Kick GP butt tonight !!!!!!!
