ROAD TRIP less than 2 days away!!!
Get on 610 loop and turn left. ;D ;D -
What kind of offense is Lumberton running this year? Still heavy on ball control? If so, this one might be over by 9 o'clock?
Our games always go long. Normally 9:30 or so. Everytime I get Dayton updates they are almost 15-20 minutes ahead of us. I think it is because they are trying to get done and over to watch us so they can see real football. ;D ;D
Just like any other games anything can happen on Friday night and if for some crazy way GCM pulls a win out this board is going to go nuts...so be careful on all the trash talking it might come back and bite you in the butt ;)
GCM is not quite the underdog you guys think. GCM takes this one if they want it bad enough. Nederland is not great, just has a lot of really bad competition over there. ;) Looks like the dogs are getting warmed up, by this picture at least. ;D ] Uploaded with ] -
I think this just about sums it up for the "L-Train"...... ]
The plan is working perfectly.
Watch # 70 or 72 Defensive Linemen for Nederland. He is good. Other than that, well tell the cheerleaders not to hurt them too bad. ;D ;D P.S. Pass out those dog barking collars with their tickets. ;) -

Just hope you dont have to play us in the playoffs. Those people you mock gave nederland their worst beating in school history. 63-0 scoreboard couldnt turn off fast enough.
I don't think Dayton has had an athlete of the same caliber as A.J. Dugat since that season, including this season.
No question about that. -
Sounds like HF may be starting a freshman QB against WOS......smh!!!!
He was actually very athletic and quite good. I was really impressed with the team athletic ability. That being said, we only get to see teams like Dayton, so not much to compare against. ;) ;)

I'll tell you what Lumberton, we will let yo score 7 more points than us if you will promise to take these jerseys with you when the game is over. Go give them to west brook, they have blue unis.........

In Los Angeles this week, so got to try and get to hotel to hear Liltex tell you how fantastic the Dayton ponies are this year...... ;D ;D ;D My questions: 1. Do the Nederland Poodles have enough offense to beat Vidor? Does Vidor have enough speed to run around the Poodles ends, where they are weak against the run. 2. Dayton has ZERO pass defense. With Livingston's running threat QB out, will Livingston throw the ball more and if so can they beat Dayton? P.S. Someone save Soulja a booster seat if you get there early. ;D ;D
There will always be some turbulence in our polls early on as people see folks in play for the first time. Heck, it could be the same way. Anahuac is not alone. Dayton, Nederland and West Orange-Stark all dropped in the 5A-3A poll despite winning their openers. ECBucFan is right. This poll won't determine who makes it to Jerry World (or the AlamoDome or Reliant Stadium). But considering the fan bases affected. I think we are gonna hear some chatter.
Us BH Fans never chatter regarding a poll. We ALWAYS like wherever we end up. ;) Now, Nederland sucks so drop them....... ;D ;D -
PNG against WOS GCM against Ned. Ozen against Memorial. Just to name a few.
I like those upset picks. I also like Hamshire Fannett to upset. They have players, just need to trust in their ability.

Well, I had hoped to make a drive up to the woods to watch BH beat Lumberton, which would have allowed us a trip to the hood to eat a little gumbo at Richards. Now, all hope is not lost because I am sure BMTSoulja is going to run a few bowls over to use before the game. ;) ;)

I'll go with Barbers Hill this week.
As I've prayed before, Dear God, if it's in the cards for Nederland to make the playoffs this year... as nothing is guaranteed, but if it is. Please, I BEG you, Please, let us play Barbers Hill. I would be eternally grateful, there is a crouching idiot, smoking baby that we have bidness with.
AMEN!!!!! ;) ;) ;) -
Santa Fe at Vidor Game Thread/Vidor wins 41-0!
bh89-2 replied to WOSgrad's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Last year Santa Fe was very bad. I am not sure we ever punted to them last year. They went from a decent team to very bad, really fast. It's a growing area again, so maybe they get better. -
All we have heard this week was how the wonder twins were going to run over us. 114 yards I think total offense. Most of that was on two plays in the second half.
All I can say is Crosby must be terrible because Nederland really sucks. -
Nuevo Leon at Barbers Hill Game Thread/The Hill wins 37-13!

37-13 final. BH Not to mention the 2 or 3 TD's called back for BH. Mexico was big, but that was about it. -

They played 18 minutes a piece with a running clock. Central- QB didn't look good, but the option was hurting BH on the outside. entral better not ever rely on the pass because they couldn't throw very well. Central D was not very good and couldn't stop BH RB, who is a Junior. He's like bowling bowl and plowed over the Jags on almost every play he ran the ball. Not mpressed with Central. HF- I actually thought they looked decent. Not too bad on defense and had some decent speed. They may surprise some teams in that tough district. HF and Central both scored I think 1 TD when they scrimmaged each other. Central might have had a second one against them, but HF hung with Central. BH= IMO the offense when they got things going looke good, Strating out they fumbled a couple of times, but put together some good drives. The defense looked good and swarmed to the ball, but the option hurt them a little when Central ran it. The Central QB I think was scared to get hit because he pitching the bal way tooearly on the option. I thinkit was BH 1 score to Central 1 score. BH 1 score to HF 0 score. I left after BH and Central played each other so other things may have happened. Overall, I think BH will compete for one of the playoff spots.
thanks Tradinup :) like i said I showed up at about 8 PM :-\
Sorry for the spelling, I'm typing in the dark. ;D They said they were doing one more round when I left. I don't care for the 3 way scrimmage idea. Overall, BH did look the best. I thought HF looked better then Central. Central's bright spots were the big play potential and speed. They didn't execute that well though. In a real game, I think BH would smoke Central. It looked like Central was tired from all of their pre game chants and jumping up and down. ;D
True, didn't get to see HF against Central, but saw that HF couldn't do anything about BH. Centrals first possesion against BH it was my opinion of them came from. BH looked bad on D during that Drive, but the second possesion by Central they came alive and started doing very well.
HF drove down the field and scored on BH in the last series.
About a 20 yd scamper by Jordan Brown, on the very last play of the scrimmage I might add... 8)
Was it on their first team defense?
We were already off the field. He did'nt hear the whistle........ ;)
