[/quote] It's a great tournament, they always put on a good job.  I just hate seing a tournament where it takes 11 to 15 lbs to take top spot on a given day.  Way back when they used to put you on a plane and ship your tackle to you.  You didn't know where you were going to fish until you were in the air.  Now that is how you seperate the fishermen from the ones who have the most money to pay scouts and guides for local knowledge.  Yes, they do.......don't go there...... ;D ;D

The single one and only bright spot I saw on the Nederland team was the D-Lineman (#70 or 72 I think?).  He's a big fast kid who should be a top lineman in the area come the end of season.  Nice guy to have.  OK, that's my one positive post for the season (sort of positive I guess, kind of like sweet and sour)    ;)

It's funny that you say that.  I've came from a band background myself.  I look at the game and the other fesitvities.  I've been around, witnessed, and performed for huge crowds before.  Still, it don't really make it a 'top game'.  Not trying to drag this topic into the mud because you make some very valid points, but I don't think I'll ever understand how an 'atmosphere' makes for a top game, in my book.
