1. They looked great until their floor routines.  This group looks to be lacking compared to some of the former US greats.  Looked a lot more focused tonight.  Gold it is!  Reminds me of Liltex doing his floor routine.  ;D
 2. We are 31 days away from the start of the 2012 Texas HS Football Season and today is National DAYTON SUCKS DAY!
 3.
Early 80's Newton had Anthony Byerly he was a stud. Also Todderick Pendland from Newton from 2003-2005
Saw Todderick in the Astrodome, man he was fast.  I recall a kid at Dayton some years ago (80's maybe) that was fast.  Think his last name was Peoples, but not sure.  Sam McGuffy was fun to watch, but way too full of himself.  All in all, I have yet to see any who run like Jonathan Grey from Aledo.  BH had one several years ago who could run from side-line to side-line faster than any kid you ever saw, but when it came to contact he was not in favor of that.  ;)

You best be prepared for the stampede! ;)
The only stampede that we need to prepare for is those Dayton women heading for the consession stand during half time ;D
Now that is funny! ;D
Almost as funny as the beat down you're gonna get ;D
Nah, they are used to that.  The stampede for our "hi carb" food is true and funny.
Maybe we should name this the Coaching Swap Day instead......Oh way, someone did that already.  P.S. Dayton Sucks Day has a much better ring to it.  ;) And to answer the Crosby question, they will likely beat us by 21 or so.  They will beat dayton by about the same.  :o
 8. I have heard it online, but sure would like to hear it over the radio waves while driving.  The best part was the callers talking trash.
WOW!  Can't beat the free shrimp.  Sorry about the fuel issues.  That always sux.  I HATE having problems out there.... but then again,  nothing's gonna break down in your driveway!  :-\
We didn;t break down, just could not run full speed.  We made a day of it and filled the fish box.
 16.
So what are the odds of catching a: 1. Mahi (Dolphin, Dorado) 2. Ling (Cobia) 3. Tuna I have been offshore a few times and have caught quite a few fish but never any of those.... which might be some of the best eating. I could imagine springing some money for a decent shot at those.
Mahi-Mahi are pleantyful and when the wind lays for a day or two during the summer months you can catch 30-over 100 of them if you want.  If you run out 30+ miles it's about a 80% chance to get a mess of them. Ling are very pleantyful out of Galveston.  Freeport seems to be a little thin, so seems the farther west you go the better.  We aught a small one last weekend.  Out of galveston you can catch them with probably 50-60% chance. There are two main types of tuna in the gulf.  Blackfin and yellow fin.  You generally need to go 60+miles offshore for blackfin. and 100+ miles for yellowfin.  You can catch a lot of blackfin jigging and chunking under lights at night.  Yellowfin are hit and miss.  If you really want yellowfin, got to venice.  Better chances there and usually bigger.  Blackfin are almost a sure bet.  Yellow probably 40-50%
 17. Yall just got dirty minds....... ;)  Octfeb, don't blame me, it was your day.  ;D ;D
 18. Weather was sloppy for the first half a day and we had a fuel issue on the starboard motor, so did not go way out.  We fished inside 25 miles and picked up a mess of smaller fish.  Found a new un-published sppts that could be very interesting come winter.  Best thing about trip was a few shrimp boats gave us large bags of shrimp for free.
 19.
We are 39 days away from the start of the 2012 Texas HS Football Season and today is National Fudge Day! ALMOST THERE!  ;D
Finally, 39 days till D-Day and we now have an appropriate day for Dayton.  Maybe why yall got the prison built up the road form the High School.  Dayton, home of the fudge packing Broncos.....  ;D ;D
 20. All that self-proclaimed talent and still gonna end up fourth.  ;) ;)
 21. Sorry so late, been in Califonia at Disney all week.  We have a decent trip last week bottom fishing.  In addition to that pictured we had about 30 or 40 mahi-mahi.  Headed out again this Sunday.  Will probably do 2 trips next weekend.  If you know what a Scamp is, one on this picture is almost a State Record.  20 lbs and change.
