I truly think crack is the food of choice in Dayton.  Region III contenders?  Really?  What team and in what State are you watching?  Half your offense was a kicker!  The other half was a midget scrambling for his life.  ;D

Yall better watch ole liltex, he'll have you dragging snapper slappers at 7 knots 80 miles offshore.... ;D  Actually he caught his dolphin on a skirted jet head with an artificial ballyhoo behind it.  For the record, the skirt on that jet-head was BH Blue and not Dayton Puke Purple.  ;D ;D Unfortunatly the fuel dock in Galveston chinga-laid us in getting fuel so we ended up not making the flower garden trip like we originally wanted.  I was told last night the pending state record wahoo (140 lbs) was caught there this past weekend.  Had we been there pulling that BH Blue, maybe we would have caught it instead. Grumpy Two is getting close to being fish ready. 

The reason it is sitting there is because the asbestos abatement project makes the renovation or demolishion cost prohibitive.  The banks won't fund a project that is so far upside down before the first hammer is swung.  The EPA and Harris County Polution Control won't allow it to be TNT'd because the airborne asbestos hazards it would creat for the public.  It's a huge bucket of cats and rats with LOTS of expensive problems.   

Sulfer Springs has had some good teams.  That could be interesting.  He's definately got a few good players to work with, unless their family closes on the two new homes in BH this month.  ;)

Williams is going to run against MUCH BETTER teams than Texas will.  With any luck the remainder of the Big-12 will collaps and Texas will crash and burn some more.

If you got a few very athletic offensive skill players and a decent defense, it gives an advantage.  Kids have to be diciplined against it.  Zone defenses are usually too hard for kids to pick-up and run effectively in a few years and man-on-man has it's limitations if you have the few great skill players.

Planning to start trips in late January or early February (water temperature driven) to the Flower Gardens for Wahoo and whatever else we want to make a run at.  Tuna trips are also an option.  The boat is a 31 foot NorthCoast (same as 31 ft blackfin combi, but thicker hull) with twin 310HP cummins diesel engines, v-birth, stand-up shower, full head, stove, microwave, AC/Heater, etc.....  Full color electronics, color radar, sat weather, sat radio (or liltex can sing), and top of line tackle.  Reels are mainly Avet, Accurate, penn internaitional, and shimmanos.  Standard Blue Water trips are 55-75 miles ofshore for: * Ling, durado, wahoo, snapper, amberjack, beeliner, scamp, blackfin tuna, etc...... Deep Blue Water trips are 100+ miles Tuna, Wahoo, bill fish, sword fish, grouper, tile fish, etc...... We split cost of trips, so it's not a charter.
