[/quote] Head to head 19-4a leads 3 games to 2, including BH's 3 point win in OT and Crosby's 1 point win over PNG.  Congrats to BH for beating winless Lumberton by 18.  20-4a wins include Nederland by 18 over GCM and LCM over GCM.  LCM is currently 7th place in district and beat your 3rd place team by 12 points early in the year. How can you say 20-4a is a joke?  That's a legit question, I'm just trying to figure out your logic. [/quote] I watch a LOT of high school football and it's not hard to see the clear differences in team tallent between these teams. Just like when you watch a good team and a state championship team.........BIG difference.  As for your point diffrential comparisons, those were all early season scores.  BH beat Nederland and really didn't show it's offense during that game.  BH is a better team than Nederland saw, as is Crosby, GCM, and Lee.  19-4A is much better week 8 and some of the teams in 20-4A are far worse (Livingston especially).    You will see what happens in the first round.  20-4A will be lucky to win one game.  Most importantly, I am NEVER wrong!  ;D

hey are not nearly as over-rated as 20-4A.  I hope BH get's to play them this year so we can see them up close and personal.  Been a while since I watched Brenham.  I do think their district is over-rated as a whole, but still very good.

Dayton, I will go ahead and take every Friday off for the next few weeks snd be your running back.  Someone (not that guy/gal who made the Sonic video last year) is going to have to help me stretch real good because I am old.  To my knowledge I have no head injuries or broken bones.  I do have acid reflux but doc says that should not be a problem since Dayton needs a lot of help.  Anyway, tell Stewart I can play for $50 per game and he has to throw in one of those purple horse outfits.  I want to open up a horse meat markey in Dayton and figured I could get the Sonic videographer to wear it and hold marketing signs at hwy 90 and FM 321.      ;D ;D

[/quote] Ever game in 19-4A I have watched this year and last the players take a knee and remove their helmets during an injury.  Granted there are cases where a substitution may be occuring for an obvious minor injury, but any potential serious injury the players all kneel and the fans normally stand.  Fans clap for the injured player when they leave the field, however that happens.  I know, I know, "Real Football is Played West of the Trinity" so in a few weeks we will give you some lessons when we smack PNG around a bit.  ;D ;D 

I say we need to completely dominate both.  Would make my day to beat Crosby by 40 or more.

I'll tell you, GCM's fullback is a power back and a handfull to bring down.  Rueter and Sexton need to tee-off on him every oppotunity they get.  Your not going to hit this one high and move him back, got to cut him down. GCM won't beat BH, but they can move the ball. GCM is good at and likes to periodically make quick throws out 8-10 yards.  The QB and receivers are dead-on when they do throw and the play is usually very quick. One of the GCM receivers made a ESPN catch during the Crosby game that I still don't know how he caught. BH 28 GCM 14

Knowing the BH game was going to be a blow-out I made it over with Liltex to watch this one.  GCM was clearly a better team, but you have to wonder what both coaches were thinking with some of their decisions.  I don't know if #44 on GCM got hurt, but you run him more in the 2nd half and that game is over. Crosby's D-Line is VERY small and can't stop a decent team.  One other comment about GCM, man that #18 got some wheels!  He ran the runningback for Crosby down like he was sitting still, bad angle and all.  GCM, why in the world did you not blitz Crosby?      Now for Crosby, what in the world are you doing pooch-kicking a kick off with over a minute left in a game?  You gave GCM field position and a chance to win, but they made more mistakes and bailed you out.  Then you get down to the 5 or so and can take the clock too 2 or 3 seconds and kick a game winning field goal, but run a play and take a chance on a fumble.  All I heard about was Crosby's kicker, so not sure why not rely on his leg for that almost certain winning FG.  Before someone says, he missed the next PAT, that kick was good.  BH gonna going to take Crosby to the wood-shed.

I just rove by there and figured it was JV since the home side was empty.  I would have looked had I known it was the powerful Ganders who nearly took out Dayton.
