They played 18 minutes a piece with a running clock. Central- QB didn't look good, but the option was hurting BH on the outside. entral better not ever rely on the pass because they couldn't throw very well. Central D was not very good and couldn't stop BH RB, who is a Junior. He's like bowling bowl and plowed over the Jags on almost every play he ran the ball. Not mpressed with Central. HF- I actually thought they looked decent. Not too bad on defense and had some decent speed. They may surprise some teams in that tough district. HF and Central both scored I think 1 TD when they scrimmaged each other. Central might have had a second one against them, but HF hung with Central. BH= IMO the offense when they got things going looke good, Strating out they fumbled a couple of times, but put together some good drives. The defense looked good and swarmed to the ball, but the option hurt them a little when Central ran it. The Central QB I think was scared to get hit because he pitching the bal way tooearly on the option. I thinkit was BH 1 score to Central 1 score. BH 1 score to HF 0 score. I left after BH and Central played each other so other things may have happened. Overall, I think BH will compete for one of the playoff spots.
thanks Tradinup :) like i said I showed up at about 8 PM :-\
Sorry for the spelling, I'm typing in the dark. ;D They said they were doing one more round when I left. I don't care for the 3 way scrimmage idea. Overall, BH did look the best. I thought HF looked better then Central. Central's bright spots were the big play potential and speed. They didn't execute that well though. In a real game, I think BH would smoke Central. It looked like Central was tired from all of their pre game chants and jumping up and down. ;D
True, didn't get to see HF against Central, but saw that HF couldn't do anything about BH. Centrals first possesion against BH it was my opinion of them came from. BH looked bad on D during that Drive, but the second possesion by Central they came alive and started doing very well.
HF drove down the field and scored on BH in the last series.
2. I am just glad they got rid of that ugly turf they had.
3. The only rank that matters is the one at the end of the season. You have to play the games.  :)

5. No, What a waste of taxpayer money.  >:(
6. "senior lineman Blake Hicks", I believe Blake Hicks is a junior this year.
7. Confussed about the Rockets deals lately. He will sell Jerseys
8. Probably won't make the playoffs the first year. Lost some skilled players.
9. I think they had to get some more red than yellow because of Toyota.
10. I wish we would have kept one of them.

12.
Last season dwight wanted get traded. Then he has a press conference talking about how "loyal" he is. Now he wants to represent with jay-z go to brooklyn Then Brooklyn resigns lopez Lakers and Rockets want a 3 way trade for dwight to LA, Bynum to Hoyston, and Magic get cap Friendly and players. Today Magic gm trying to convince him to stay, but Dwight doesnt wanna.. I am pretty sure our best bet is to get Bynum in Houston. I here he would do a long tern deal to build around. What the heck! Magic fans just want this to be overwith! He is starting to become the Lebron of Cleveland.
13. If they don't get him this year, they will get him next year. Only a year left on his contract. Rockets owner has deep pockets.
14. Preseason prediction...you still have to play the games.
15.
Rockets trade chase budinger to twolves for 18th pick! On espn they are making strong moves to get to top ten to aquire Howard! And possibly get Deron Williams too!!
We knew that didn't we King! Go Rockets!!!
16.
Interesting note: Had a state tournament existed for class AA in 1975 Hamshire-Fannett would have qualified.  HF defeated Columbus in the regional finals but that ended the season as only larger classifications had a state tournament for baseball at that time.  I believe the next year the state tournament expanded for smaller classifications.  There may be other "small" schools from the area that would have qualified prior to '75.  Any other examples???
I would give HF credit.
17. Preseason predictions are just that...preseason predictions.  You still have to play the games.
18. Glad its over!
19. Good for him. Probably won't be a repeat.
20. NO, He needs more experience. Without Lebron, they would not have made the playoffs.
21. Like the new owner so far. He is getting things done and paying for new talent.
22. Go Rocket!! Hall of Fame...soon!
