After watching Jones highlight tape and the Huffman wrs tapes (Julian;VMI, Martin; Houston, Witwer; WTAMU) Jones would of been a great back up for last years Huffman WR Corp.

Lewis should not win defensive MVP at all. There was nothing impressive about Shepherds defense I believe Coldspring and Huffman had at least 35 at half against them. Coldspring safety was impressive

That fumble for a touchdown was questionable but it is what it is. Closer game than what the score showed.

We called three run plays so Silsbee more than likely brought a house blitz so we try and pass and make a big play. I think it was a good call just not a good outcome. It happens and when it does you just move on and that's exactly what we did.

Gilbert #1 didn't play vs kville due to a broken wrist. IMO he is there best back, boy has got some speed
