Congrats Ned. I believe this is the second year in a row that you went three round into the playoffs. Good luck next week.

It hurts more to loose in the third or fourth round than the first. Not that you have had that opportunity very often have you. Good luck to Nederland.

Nederland is not a dominant team and will loose this game. 35 to 21. 

Say what you want. The Dayton Broncos lost to Nederland in the first round. Hats off to the kids at Nederland for making the big plays when you did. Most of you would love to have had the playoff run that the Broncos have had. All good things must come to an end but we will be back and all of you know it. Who knows. We may end up back in 20-4a in a few years and that will be fun. The Broncos just had too many distractions at the end of this season to overcome. I will leave it at that. The only real dominant team in this area that could go to state is Summer Creek. Just ask Vidor. Nederland is not a dominant team like Summer Creek is now or like the Broncos have been for the last seven years. The Bulldogs will not get past the third round if they win next week. I will eat my crow and I like Chipotle sauce with it.  This is just my opinion and my opinion alone. Dayton has a real Football program and is not a one playoff win wonder.       

Summer Creek would beat Angletons team they had the last couple of years. I am telling you they are almost equal to Manvel from last year that the Broncos lost to in the third round last year. Manvel went on to state and lost to Jonathan Grey and Aledo. Manvel was a beast last year..............

Keep thinking that way and see what happens Saturday. You should kinow when you see that Horseshoe that you are beat............ 8)

Nederland is overated....... Summer Creek would hammer them.

I love this. Dayton gets beat soundly by a good 5A team that will probably go to state and suddenly everyone in 4-A thinks they can take out the Broncos easily. I cant wait to prove some teams wrong. I do not believe any team from 20-4a has beaten Dayton in the past 7 years except for a fluke game in Lumberton and they still think they will beat us. Only time will tell but everyone finds a needle in a haystack occassionally like Barbers Hill last year and Crosby the year before.

Summer Creek would beat any team on this ranking. JMO.

Many are underestimating the Broncos. If I am right we have been to the third round every year since 2005.

Summer Creek is stmilar to Manvel of last year. Should be a 5 a team playing in 4 a. Big fast and strong. Great game summer creek and my Broncos will be back.

Summer creek is almost identical to the Manvel team that the Broncos lost to in the third round of the playoffs last year. I hope Vidor wins but I dont think they have a chance. JMO. Summer creek should be a 5a team just like Manvel should have been last year. 

The mighty Broncos will show there toughness tonight. Get ready for a Purple Horseshoe to be stamped on your back after Dayton defeats you tonight and yes I will eat crow if we dont.  ;)

Yup. Broncos win in first round at The Butch every year. Will be a great time to showcase the Broncos.

I believe the Broncos outplayed Nederland in a scrimmage this year............... 8)
