The Broncos have been very good at intercepting the pass this year so I am ok with Barbers Hill throwing the ball because I know we will be the recipient of some gifts. Broncos 31  Barbies Hill 21.

Does not sound good for the hill if you had to wear them down to move the ball. Good teams can move the ball at any time.

Pirates, congrats on your first playoff win in a while this year but I have to tell you that the deeper you go into the playoffs the talent and experience from opposing teams is much better, which is just common sense. Most of the teams not all that make it to the second round have playoff experience from the year before. If you win in the second round, the third round and going forward is usually a dog fight to the end. The Broncos have experienced this the last four years or more. Great game PNG. How bout them Broncos. Never underestimate the heart of the Broncos. We have been at least 3 rounds deep in the playoffs for at least the last 4 years that I can remember and maybe more. The playoff experience really showed up in this game. I may be wrong on this one also but it seems like this defense this year has intercepted passes more than in past years. Go Broncos...............

Juan has kicked 2 fifty two yarders this year also. He is a junior and will be playing on Saturday after he graduates. I believe he just sealed him a scholarship tonight.

Dayton will win but IF we dont this will be the first time we have lost in the first round in how many years? I just dont see it happening. We have had our issues this year but we have also showed as much heart and grit at the same time. Just remember, there is no quit in the Broncos and we will bring it. The way I see it not many teams really want to play Dayton in the first two rounds of the playoffs with the exception of Brenham and the teams down south, Angleton,Manvel and the rest in that district. Just my opinion.

I was at the game in BH and i saw many plays where Eagle players just ran through our tackles or lack of tackles. I counted many plays where our players hit the opponent 2-3 times and did not wrap up and the result was a big play for the Eagles. No 1 will be back soon and that will be a big improvement and as the season goes on I am sure we will see some of the seniors on offense go both ways when needed. I do think our defense will improve as the season goes along. Dayton will not loose another district game and hopefully we will be 100% healthy and on a roll come playoff time. The Eagles are much improved but everyone gets up to beat Dayton.  Lets just see where we all end up at the end. Go Broncos.

Congrats to the Hill. I still think the Broncos are a much better team than we saw tonight. I guess we will see when it comes playoff time but I dont see us loosing again in district. The Eagles are much improved over last year but we still have all season to go. This game tonight is like winning the super bowl for the Eagles and enjoy it while you can. It has been a long time since you have been able to enjoy this. Once again, congrats Eagles........

From what I just read in the chronicle Fort Bend Elkins has 3 Division recruits with two committed to Texas A&M. Huge win Broncos. Go Broncos................

Go LaMarque You beat us and I knew that the way you beat the Broncos that you would make it to state. At least we got beat by the team that will make it to state and possibly win. Go Broncos, we will be back next year stronger than this year.

Hey Cougtalk, do you have anyone in Crosby for the Cougars that does as much for their kids than Purpleforever does for Daytons kids. No, I did not think so. We still whipped your you know what.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion. I feel that the size of the La Marque players is what decided this game. The Broncos had plenty of opportunities to win this game but fell just short. In my opinion we played this game just like the first three games of the season. La Marque was big,fast and strong and when you make mistakes 3 round deep in the playoffs it will cost you deeply.  I think their size wore us down in the 3rd quarter. Man that was some beef on that offensive line and the defense had some also. I do think there were a few calls that were not made by the refs that should have been called on La Marque that could have changed the game but they werent so that is that. Broncos, we had a great year and we will be back next year with a better offense and not sure about the D yet but we will see. Hold your heads high and thanks for the great season. Great job tonight Cody. Cody threw for 2 touchdowns and ran for a 3rd against Colorado. Best game yet on national tv and Cody is now 4 and 0 as a starter and I hear he will be starting in the big twelve championship game in Dallas. Go Cody, Dayton is proud of you.

Why do so many posters think that La Marque is all that. Where did they end up last year? Beating Terry and Yates is not that great in the playoffs. Dayton has been very good for the last 4 years. Dayton will roll in this game. We have played good offensive lines and running backs many times this year. Always Believe.  8)
