1. Also who would be in the backfield if not Haywood? Burman and ...........?
2. I have always heard Vanya was going to QB next season and the fact that they let him take a few snaps this year would seem to support that. Haywood is super fast and a great athlete but he is not realy built like a QB and Jasper struggled trying the same situation. I don't doubt Vanya has the heart or the head for the job. My only concern would be his ability to stay healthy. He played well even when he was n't 100% I have to give him that much. It would be very supprising to see anyone but him behind the center.
I think Kirbyville should be more concerned with who their players will be rather than someone to coach them..This happens with the senior turn over every 3 to 4 years...Kirbyville has had a good 3 year run..This is where you find out who's a coach and who's just drawing a pay-check... ;)
Great point. Some teams do great every year if they graduate 1 or 20. Some abilities these players are just born with but execution, endurance and focus are all coached and that is what wins games.
4. Hey Lefty...... You said you had some info you were going to post but not until the day before the game???? You had me wondering all week. ;D ;D
5. We will be tailgaiting anyway. Swing by and get something to eat before the game. We'll save you a link or two.
6. Most of the wildcat fans gained 300 smites overnight. Brownwood fan must have been up all night..... Everyone knows they like to run up the score anyway. Must be over compensanting for other areas that they fall "short".
7.
56 neg.karmas for my thanksgiving thread post ::)
Looks like SOMEONE is able to play around with the Karma. No reflection on you. Happy Thanksgiving
why dont you go into detail eh? say it on here or PM it or both for that matter  ;)
Obviously no one needs to your doing a fine job all by your self.

10. Wildcat Thanksgiving Thank you to all of the Wildcats for giving us something to be proud of and cheer for. Your hardwork means a lot to the community. Though all of you deserve the credit I wanted to let a few know that we are especially thankfull for; Jones... For keeping a sharp eye, a strong arm and a level head while leading the team. Ford... For letting us know any play can be the big play. Ervine... For lowering your shoulder and fighting for those extra yards. Haywood...For being a threat this week and for next year. Vanya... For some great catches when we needed them. Breed... For keeping the fans pumped up and QBs running for cover. Tyler... For the hits we can hear and feel from the stands. All the linemen... You do all the heavy lifting and always make it look easy. Cucancic..For making them remember your number even if they cant pronounce your name To all of the others too many to name. We are Thankful for your efforts your talent and a year without serious injuries. And To Jack Alverez for molding these young men and helping them be as good as they can be on and off the field. Kirbyville is already proud and thankfull for the season you have given us. And it aint even close to being over yet! Happy Thanksgiving to you.
11. Thes two teams have both done very well this year and I think the first match up has little to do with Fridays game. CS really wants to win a rematch and proove themselves which can be a phycological edge but Kville has already beat this team so they have the same frame of mind. Both teams have to win or go home so the "we have to win this one "  idea of either team wanting it more is out the window. Both teams want it bad. Both teams have had some high scoring impresive wins and both have key players that can make you pay for any mistakes that you make. I think it will come down to experience and execution. There is no doubt that CS is good but the Cats have been down this road more than once. The blowouts dont mean as much as the hard fought wins (and losses). Football is a team sport and the Wildcats are a true Team. People like to say things like "Ford and Company" but they are far from that. I am not saying that they cant be beat. I am saying that no matter what is thrown at them they are going to come together as a team, step up and make their opponant earn every inch.
12. There is no doubt that CS has improved they have won a lot of games since that first week. Too bad the Wildcats have been just laying around since then. ;D
13.
Totally agree TDawg.. Predictions are how u see it, and the trojans will win.. gonna be focused, mainly just not scared of Kirbeyville.. no what to expect, played them once and it was a lot closer of a game than the scroe sad.. Coldspring was inside the 25 4 to 5 times and just turned the ball over.. and by the way if you have been at the last 2 games.. alot of points have been put on the board.. 43 and 53 , the d will be strong   GO TROJANS
By the way if you look at the last 2 games...... You will see that Columbus has gave up 239 points and Liberty (please) gave up 413. I would not read much into those high scoring games.  You probably wont see 50 points either way this go around.
14.
Just got back from the Kirbyville practice...Cats looking sharp...I think they are ready for this one...Lefty remind me to tell you what Coach Alvarez told me....
Are they done?
15. I got a chance to watch the 'Cats practice yesterday. They looked very calm, focused and confident. The word is that CS is very pumped up and ready to chew nails. Alverez did not have them foaming at the mouth but they did seem very mentally prepared. They are not taking CS lightly but not focusing on anything but mistake free football either.  I think the winner of this game is the team that plays their game, executes and does not let up.  Sometimes being too amped up can be a distraction. IMO WOS slipped not by being anything less than a a great team but by letting the hype come before the game they were playing. They never thought they could loose that game and should not have. I was proud to see the attitude of all of the Kirbyville team.  I 'll always take a team that knows they can play, knows their strengths and is focused on doing what it takes to win.
16. I really expected this thread to get out of hand. I know that it was only a small minority of CS fans but a couple really got the threads from other games out of control. Everyone from both sides are looking forward to this one. Good match up, good stadium, good day, good weather. What could be better! Only a few days to go and hopefully the holiday will make it pass quick.  Best of luck to the Trojans and safe travel for all of the fans and players.

18. Cold Spring is a good match up for Kville. They are a fast, physical team. I think that the game the game the Cats just came out of will have them in the right frame of mind and Cold Spring will have their first playoff fight.
19.
Mustangs deserved to lose this game! Play like crap and coached even worse LOL on both sides of the ball! But good game falcons!
Thats a little harsh. They always play real good ball and any team can have a bad night. Unfortunatly you can only have one at this point. And unless you have a stadium named after you.... saying Hooks is a bad coach is just dumb.
20. Is anyone from SETX there at the game that can find out any info on the CS vs Kville game?
21. Tough game for WOS. Had us on the edge of our seats until the end. Thought you were going to pull it off. Kville fans.... No matter what was said last night cut these WOS boys and fans some slack. They had a great year. They are a rival but they made us a better team and a better football community this season.
