  1. you RV are missing. yes you had players come and go as needed, but you ALWAYS had your core group of players. I think your sucess was 1. you stayed ahead with the new and improved things that came up in softball yearly. 2. you coached each girl differently because what works for one might not for another. 3. you listened to your players questions or ideas and calmly told them why something wouldn't work or said hey lets try it. 4. you also coached the parents and got their involvment and that went a long way. That core group and then some would have followed you anywhere and probly still would. there is an art to coaching and you have it. you left no child behind and we all thank you RV
  2. how in the world would a freshman ALREADY be practicing and playing with varsity so soon? not even is he a hot hopeful. Oh my bad he is the coache's nephew. oh well the new sophmores seem to be doing good. so hope for a good season
  3. I had heard about the coach saying this also. One of the kids being his own nephew. I just can't see that at all------shurely this is wrong, over other older more qualified players
  4. I agree jsamp- the trend this year is our qb being hurt or whatnot every game. When this happens, it changes the line up for the defense and the offense, so the whole team is affected, Don't know what the solution is though.
  5. into 2nd half 41-19 kirbyville. Bc QB keeps taking himself out of the game. Out again for 2nd half Keep going Cards- its not over
  6. what do you mean, by saying playing for next year? I do agree some changes must be made-----------soon
  7. can't be a mommie crying because I have no kid on the field. just an observation. I truly want the cards to win
  8. the statement was not idiotic.. this QB and some others do NOT play hurt. not for the whole game anyway.s We need the whole team this week
  9. Maybe just this week the second QB should start, since the other one seems to be injured
  10. BC Lemoine out with a consussion. Breaux playing injured
  11. Lemoine is doing great on defense------------but. with breaux getting hurt so much, missing practice etc. and the back uo QB Hubbard totally out with a broken nose, that puts Lemoine in the QB position with no one really to help on defense. Yikes!!!!
  12. BC quarterback is a sophmore but seems to be doing good
  13. I thought Corey was still on JV along with Lemoine. Both playing in JV and Varsity scrimmages? Any body to take their place on JV if moved up? great player
  14. card mom- My kids have finished their time at BC but I still love the school and all sports. In saying that- I check up on All the different sports post on this site from time to time. I don't think I said that it was your kid's fault only that in reading your posts in all catagories it is usually the coach, or other parents or other players. If I misunderstood you then I'm sorry. As for knowing your kid- I actually did not. But when I felt attacked I did ask around about who it could be, and then looked at your old posts that you did name him. Should not have mentioned names, also sorry about that. Good luck to ALL cards
  15. whoa card mom- I'm not sure why you are attacking me or so mad about this topic. But I do not know your kid or his abilities I just thought less personal posts could be made. I did back up my comments just a few examples- also in baseball-- post dated June 22 and June 7 and june 24 and June 25 I have sense learned that your boy switched positions himself to receiver not QB and is actually doing well. No hard feelings were meant by this post originally. Again I want the team including baseball to excell. But this is not the place to have these heated debates, I fear we have ventured off the original thread and topic. Again good luck to your kid and I hope that this ends this debate. also glad luke did well at A&M also if he wants to be QB then do so, there places on JV & Varsity, nothing is set in stone. Good Luck and I hope this ends this mess
