1. As long as the plays keep coming from the sideline like they have been... LCM doesn't win another game. VIDOR 28 LCM 10
 2. These are the reasons why LCM lost last night. 1. 5 times in the redzone = 0 points 2. No pressure on Greene until the end of the game when it was too late. 3. The QB in the game has speed but can't read a defense, execute plays or throw consistently. 4. Ozen hands you the ball at their twenty with 8 mins left in the fourth and you get driven back 15 yards. 5. No pressure on the QB!!! 6. Calling a run play up the middle that worked one out the fifteen times it was called. 7. And above all no pressure on the QB... I'm not saying to bench #7 he's a gamer and needs to be on the field every down... just maybe in a different position. LCM will have to make serious changes to make sure lumberton isn't their only district win.
 3. I believe that I have seen one the most boneheaded moves by a coaching staff in a long time. The offence of the LCM Bears, Hunter Gonzalez, was put in to play defence. Now I'm all for kids wanting play and u putting your best 11 on the field, but without Hunter the LCM Bears have NO ONE to fill his shoes. It would be like putting peyton manning in at linebacker. Low and behold it looks like hunter has been injured while playing on d. I applaud hunter for his effort as it has been unmatched by very few players that I have ever watched, but the coaches need to have some restraint.

Did you think it would be close?
Wow coming from a guy whose team is 1-4 and is finally in a game where you are blowing out a team (which is not over yet)
 5.

You've gotta remember that L.C.M. played Ozen with out there starting running back Jones who only had a few carries. He should be back and i look for a big game from Gonzales. Bears by 7, but it will come down to a final drive i believe.
We've seen several great QBs so far this year.  I think Gonzalez will be another good one... I think that by our defense playing against the QB's from Memorial (Singleton), WB (Reyes), Ozen(Green), and Livingston (forgot his name), wewill be prepared for Gonzalez...
I going with the bears pulling this one out late in the 4th qauter. Hopefully everyone is back at 100%. I would like to see if anyone from central can catch #21. ;D
We ran down both the Livingston runners.  #24 and their QB.  The question will be if you can run down our #12 or #15?  I doubt it.  To add another wrinkle, I talked to an Ozen fan.  Stated that Green didn't come in untill the 4th quarter.  If that kid can come in and throw 2 TD's in the 4th quarter, he probably would have been throwing TD pases all night.  :o :o
Soulja, I was at the game and what the Ozen fan failed to add was that during the first half we were putting alot more pressure on the more athletic starting QB. During the time Green was in, we were only bring three up front, allowing him time to throw. LCM wasn't able to cover their receivers forever and they got open. I hope that LCM will watch the last 10 mins of that game over and over again so that doesn't happen again.
Asportsfan, my point is this game is not the whole season. If you lose it do you just pack in  the rest of the season? This game is big and will be treated as such by the coaches players and teams, but the loser still has a real shot at the playoffs and possibly the district championship.
Agreed ;)
 6.
This game doesn't define the Bears or Central's season in my opinion. Is it a big game? yes. Does it kill the losers season? No. Both teams have already proven themselves as being for real and playoff caliber teams. Good luck to both for a great high school football game next Friday night!!!
I can agree with u about central's season, but with bears not making the playoffs in over a decade this win would put them in the drivers seat of district 20-4A. While they still have a long and tough road ahead, being the only undefeated team in district would speck volumes for the progarm that crouch and the rest of the bears staff have started to create.
 7.
I hate to sound like a whiner even though lcm won but man that was horrible on the officiating. The clock didnt run for three plays in a row in the second half and they never adjusted the clock. Then gonzo clearly fumbled out of bounds and it goes to ozen Then the dont measure that 4 and it looked like about a foot and gave ozen the first down. Sorry but that was bad. There should have been deffensive pass interf. in the end zone. But lcms defense showed up again with some huge stops.
How did u like when they blew the play dead and Hunter was still running win ball.
 8.
Central will take this one and send the "cubbies" back to their cave!  Central by 7.  Centrals offense will be too much for the "cubbies."
LOL. Well it looks like the puppies took a pee-pee on your tee-pee All kidding aside its going to the game that defines the Bears season. Got to pick my bears by an inch, but don't be suprised by the score as it could end up being a shootout.
 9.

I ask this all the time.  What do you mean by 'undisciplined'?
I'm going to take a stab at this, but my answer will be mine and not his... A lot of times, kids who have a lot of talent let it go to their heads.  Coaches are advisers, and not someone to be paid attention to.  Because of that talent, and the feeling that you know all there is to know about the game, you will do what you want.  At times this results in not everyone being on the same page, sometimes it results in stupid penalties (holding, pass interference, and sometimes personal fouls).  what this does is take the talent that is already there, and check it with the discipline that isn't.  It's like daddy ball, only it's the kids that know more than the coaches do, or actually, THINK they do.  When you have a kid who feels he has to work because he doesn't have as much talent, you get a kid that follows directions, and has a strong work ethic.  When you have a kid that is scary talented, sometimes that results in a kid who feels the team has to mold to him, instead of him molding to the team.
Yes sir that's exactly what I meant.
No, I don't think that's what he meant.  Matter of fact, I don't even think he have seen Ozen play this year...
I apologize if it seemed that I spoke as if I had seen them before, as I have not. I've heard that being said of ozen from several good sources.
 10.
Anyone hear anything about RB Tevin Jones, will he be back.
I believe Tevin had a high ankle sprain, so don't be surprised if u see him on the sidelines during the game this week. LCM still has a long tough road ahead and will need him to be healthly. Fortunately the bears have two other kids that can run the ball well, so I'm not worried about their running game. What concerns me about the bears is that for the 3rd week in a row they have left hunter in the game even with a large lead. I know who makes that call and just because he plans on leaving after this year onto bigger and better thing, doesn't mean he should put our offense (hunter) at risk. Ozen is always stacked with talent, but is undisciplined. LCM 35 - Ozen 14 at Da' Butch

 12.
This is a HUGE game this week for both teams.  It's gonna be great and I heard thru the grapevine....tons of people. Someone suggested over 5000 at this game!!!! Rumor? You never know....But the L-train can bring some fans.
This is the first time LCM has been 3-0 since 1997, so I expect it to be a packed house with the crowd overflowing into the back of the endzones.
Blah, blah, blah. Everyone on here is so stuck on compairing both teams to who they have played so far this season. PEOPLE IT DOESN'T MEAN CRAP!!!!!!!! Both teams are very different than the other. The REAL season starts now and everybody is 0-0. I believe this game will come down to turnovers and mental mistakes. With that i see lumberton by 3.  ;)
Best comment so far, except for the L-train by 3 !!!! GO BEARS !!!!

Katy is #9 in the Nation ??? Really ??? Unless they can come out and ram the ball down WB's throat like they said they would, they don't deserve that ranking. And... WB is the real deal and the ball just hasn't bounced their way (literally). I predict stump leads the Bru' Crew back and makes this a decent game.
Oh I know this is a joke.  Katy is dominating us.  Don't you think they may have a little to with the turnovers?  This is embarrassing!!
Katy is Dominating in TWO stats, Points and Recovered fumbles. How many yards do they have ? On the ground and in the air ? "Dominating" means u crush your opponent in every stat. Now if the tigers come out and have a couple of 70-80 yard drives, I'll be glad to eat my words.
