He isn't going to get his money just yet. There is an injunction in place that prevents them from paying him until at least a hearing is held (next week, I believe).

I think any of them would do a good job.

I know interviews are happening this week. I don't know everyone that was interviewed but do know some (Like coach H above, I'm not saying any names). I do know the majority of the interviews were for HC/AD but there was at least one that was just AD. However, I also heard that it is a very slim (meaning none) chance that it would be separated.

Heard HJ won last night and this morning but have no scores on either game.

That is pretty cool. I may have to catch a couple of games if I get a chance.

For reference: [Hidden Content] Schools may have early release up to 6 times a year for a set list of reasons. Playoff is one of the listed reasons. So if they don't have 6 already on the calendar then they are fine. If they have 6 on the calendar (I have no idea what the school calendar looks like) they will have to change one of the scheduled ones to a full day.

You are usually one of the more reasonable Silsbee guys ;). AFAIK HJ feels they have to beat 4 teams to make the playoffs. Doesn't matter which 4, and this group of boys is fairly confident that they can do it.

Just found out this game is at HJ. Original schedule had it at Tarkington but there was a mix up. Thursday will have JV's at Tarkington and JH's at HJ
