1. GCM has to get past the dreaded wwcmps syndrom which there is no cure for. And even if there was the pill would to big to swallow !!!! Woods Washington Couron Malveaux Prior Stampley
2. During the GSL announcement before game you will hear the announcer say " A Chairtable Donation of at least 7 points may be given to GCM by the dogs defense "
3. Talked to J. Woods yesterday and he has a sprained arch in his foot. He said he will sit out practice Monday but be ready to play Friday. Anybody else have anything on the others ?
4.
Up side for Nederland is that all of the injuries are not long term.Time for the Dogs to lick their wounds mentally and physically and come out fighting against Crosby like I know they are capable of.By the way,Brown.Carr and Richard got it handed to them by Dayton last year. Please don't accuse this team of not having leadership.I believe they will show it soon!Go Dogs!
What I was saying is someone needs to step up and fill their shoes. I am just looking for some one to step up and rally their side of the ball and the sideline. This should have been established when 2 a days started.
5. Lord you know Justin so much better than any of us. You know his sickness and the burden his family carries. You also know his heart Lord I ask that you be with him now Lord as you work in his lfe. Lord let your will be done in his life.   Lord I pray for Justin just as your word tells me to pray. i believe you hear all our prayers for Justin and his family and how powerfull these prayers are because of your promise. We have faith in you Lord to heal Justin but, we also trust in the plans you have for his life.   Lord we dont always understand your ways, and we dont know why Justin and his family has to suffer but, we trust you. I ask that you look upon them with mercy and grace towards Justin and his family. Nourish their spirit and souls in their time of need Lord and comfort them with your presense. Amen
6. I hope Nederland players  are reading this because someone needs to light a fire under their rear ends. I know they lost some leadership with Richard, Carr, and Brown graduating last year but, there has got to be some leaders on both sides of the ball step up.
7.

It's better to just get sponsorships, and no I dont mean ones that play commercials all game. Nederland's scoreboard and jumbotron is nice, yeah it has the sponsorships around it, but to me it doesn't take anything away from the scoreboard and you aren't annoyed by commercials the entire time.
AMEN......... nothing like going to a PNG game and hearing some back-woods hick pondering a ponzi-scheme bank account or wanting to roto-rooter your pipes.  Man, play some energizing songs or show close-ups of the goofy guy bouncing around in moccosins, but don't prod me to buy a crossant at 8PM at night.  Just sayin.......... ;)
Thats funny goofy guy in moccosins ;D
8. Ned and WOS both played well on the D side of the ball. Both of their O was struggling more than expected. Ned O line was slow coming off the ball but, this will come around in the next couple of weeks. Ned 2nd team O showed some promise along with their 2nd D. So hater here is your answer: NO they are not over rated they are right where they needed to be against WOS. See you in a couple weeks for a progress report !!!!!
9.
Oh and I will sit on the wining teams side...the Nederland side!!!...mid county folks have to stick together until that certain week comes
We will sell you some black and gold  ;) I will be honest if you cut me I may bleed one drop of purple
10.
Not normally. They don't show ip till week 0.
No the band will not be there...
11. How about just show up at Bulldog Stadium tomorrow night and watch. Who cares if the score board will be working, who cares if there will even be a announcer. Lets call this a Audition instead of a scrimmage or game. Because it is designed for the coaches to see what they have on both sides of the ball. I have seen some 2nd and 3rd string players make their way to starters because of scrimmages.
12. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME Thank you for the thread phunter this is just a daily reminder of who is really in charge of Friday Nights under the lights. In my prayer I also ask for the protection of all the men and women serving our country which allows us the freedom to play on friday nights.
13. Wow sounds like crosby just needs to show up with the TWINS and a coach !!!! Nederland 21 Crosby 7
14.
It will be good to see if the TE gets more involved in the offense this year.  I think it will open up the passing game and  indirectly the running game.
Washington worked hard this summer on picking up his speed and recieving. His height will give the line backers trouble with coverage. He is not a speedster but with his size he will carry a few tacklers extra yards.
15. Thats 7 hours doing the posted speed limits. Most yellow dogs have a max speed of 55-60mph no matter if they are new with a/c or older models. Wonder if they have enough backers to raise the money for a charter bus.
16.
Uh, maybe this will help. ::) [Hidden Content]
TO FUNNY  :o
17. Jeff "THE JET" Bergeron from PNG he rushed for 3,915 yards with 67 TD"S in 30 games
18.
yall not gonna post on here and forget Troy Sumrall (NED) ;D
Dont forget Grogan
19. Nederland not only has the best coach in SETX with Larry Neuman but, they have some of the best assistant coaches in SETX. A "hero" head coach does not obtain his stature alone, it takes all of his coaching staff to guide, teach and direct his team. Sure he is the Head Man who everyone points their finger at when things go bad or sings his praises when things are good. The head coach is the one with the win/loss record that follows him  but to achieve this record it takes the hard work and dedication of his assistants and the desire of the team to win.
20. 1st  Quarter:  Ned 14  Vidor 3  2nd Quarter:  Ned 24    Vidor 10 3rd  Quarter:  Ned 34  Vidor 10 4th  Quarter:  Ned 41  Vidor 17
21. Nederland will be the team to watch in 4A. Seasoned returning starters and strong crop of under class coming up this year.
22. To the players from both Nederland and Ozen who may be reading this thread. THANK YOU for a outstanding season. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to your game and school. Be proud of the seasons accomplishments. Thank you to the Senior's and good luck in your future. Thought you would appreciate reading something POSITIVE instead of all the trash talk you have been reading.
23. Congrads to all these young men making the teams,  this is why SETX has such a rich tradition in football. If my addition is correct and my eyes worked right here is the school totals. Nederland 18 Ozen 15 Vidor 12 PNG 10 Livingston 8 LCM 7 Lumberton 6 Central 4 I appologise if i missed anything but, what a outstanding showing from all our district.
24. Does it really matter? My hat is off to all the players slated. I say thank you to all of them for their hard work and dedication to their team.
