There was several air horns against Stratford on Nederlands side and several of us had the take a deep breath and let her rip horns. I have also seen the aluminum water bottles with ball bearings but, make sure you tape the lid shut or you will be spraying bearings all over the place. I would like to see everyone bring a black or gold hand towel for rally rags. I know they gave some rally rags out last week but, not nearly enough and they were not used that much.

Go Dogs Go!!! [/quote] Are you serious!!!! Being quiet is not the issue for the offense. The offense would rather hear us raise all the noise we can instead of hearing the opponets chant of defense. What your asking is for the fans and the team to give the Offense silence so they can execute a play. What the offense needs is to execute all plays with no turn overs, penalities, and score. Its the fans job to show them all the support they need, this is not golf or tennis.

How can you put a price on a players Knee's ? Belive me its hard to find jobs in some industries when you have bad knee's.

Wish they would have been around during the late 70's and early 80's. All we had back then was a trainer and a heck of alot of tape. I had the misfortune of having my knee totally replaced 10 years ago due to sports realted knee injuries. Thing is doctor says in another couple of years it will need to be done again. So do I think they should be worn YOU BET.

Parking is free but, get there early due to Lamar having a basketball game. If the lot is full which I suspect, you will have to park on campus and walk. Be careful and pay attention to where you park on campus because, the parking lot patrols will write you a ticket and leave it on your windshield.

Does it really matter what color you wear? The boys on the field can not hear color!!!  Just show up and support our district.

Between Lamar and the Butch there will be plenty of seats avail. The coaches are smart enough to pick stadiums now that can hold a large amount of fans.

Shame we are the Visiting team in our own back yard because, I am going to hate to see all those nice seats on the home side empty!!!. I do think the echo of WHO LET THE DOGS OUT will sound nice tho bouncing off those seats.

Oh my lord what else are we going to use to compare the two teams. How about how may kids are in the band "Nederland Wins". How about how many fans will be in attendance " Nederland Wins". How about a national champion drill team " Nederland Wins". Sorry GCM the odds are even stacked against you'll off the field. All in all we can have fun with who is going to do what to each other. It sure does make this thread fun. But lets all remember these are young men that need our support no matter who wins. Take the time if your able after the game to thank this young men for a great season.

Vidors thursday game will have Nederland and PNG fans there to watch and support. I know after the Nederland pep rally thurday there are going to be alot of fans heading to Lamar to catch the second half of the game. Friday night will bring alot of the same crowd for Nederlands game and Saturday PNG's side will have both Nederland and Vidor fans. We have a rich tradition of following local teams into play offs. I say thank you to all the devoted fans who go out and support these young men. For the players who may be reading this post THANK YOU for giving us all a wonderful season. Most of all before each game lets all ask for the protection of all involved. And let us not forget the silent prayer for the men and women in the armed forces who are protecting our country and our freedom so those of us at home can enjoy HS Football.

First thing first [b][color=red]WIN THE GAME[/color][/b] and do not assume this is a easy win!!! Keep the mojo going with a perfect record in district. I think the starters have to keep focused on winning the game first. This is the game where  in the first half new plays they have been working on should be ran. Would love to see every other pocession with the back ups once a lead has been established. Would like to see Woods at QB for half the game and throwing the ball. Main concern for me is keeping all of them injury free and let some of the boys who have not seen much field time playing.

The L-train is due for a win!!!! Their defense played pretty good against Nederland and made some hard hits. If they can get their O working they can pull this one off. Lumberton fans have got to get behing their team even if they are not having a good season. I was hurt to see so few of fans in the stands and after half time even more empty seats. Fans are use to hearing that dang train horn and i mabe heard it 2 times Friday night. Fill the tanks up and let her rip show them boys they have support.

Nederland started out very slow against Lumberton and they played very sluggish with to many mistakes. There was no spark on the sidelines like usual. If the dogs come in with the same lack luster emotions Ozen could be a spoiler. With it being Sr. Night i would expect another win but, Ozen is traveling with a surprise win over Livingston. The first quarter in my opinion will set the tone for the game. Nederland knocks the chip off their shoulder and its 42-14 if not then its gonna be close at 28-24.
