  1. No score in second half is an accomplishment....good to play these teams in pre district
  2. Yes, butt whipping in the play....keep playing guys
  3. What I am saying is in response to Silsbee being tired in the second half. I don't know what they do for conditioning but WOS always seems to last 4 quarters. Just comparing to depth of each team. If WOS can do it why can't Silsbee, all I am saying.
  4. I don't how Silsbee conditions their guys, but WOS has a brutal conditioning regimen. That is why they compete til the end with teams with depth.
  5. Yep, I agree. The next two games are gonna be a good test. Huntsville brings a good defense, although they lost their big guy on d to graduation. Heard Tomboll is stout too. But hey, these are the guys you face in the playoffs if you make it. We'll see.
  6. Facing those runners has done nothing but help us. Good luck Silsbee on your run...
  7. I think what has happened here was predicted. Depth hurt Silsbee. Get tired and mistakes happen. Not to take anything from our guys. They've done very well and I am excited to see this offense this year. I knew we had some talent at RB. Bost looks good too. Defense needs work, but that's not unusual. Silbee's monster backfield will dominate
  8. Having Bost, Vaughn , Connor and Hernandez in the backfield is going to be nice....
  9. Dede is good.....been waiting for him to get the ball...helva running game here in the second
  10. I agree you did, but they have not moved him from QB, they are using him at running back for now. I think he wanted the move. From my understanding from his buddies is that he wants to play now and does not care where. And it does make sense because I don't think he'd see the field in the next two years if Sam stays healthy. I don't see Sam leaving early. They are still working with his mechanics which is not unusual for a freshman QB. Shug is always going to be a competitor for what ever position he is in. He just has that over the top mental ability to maintain focus. He has great leadership abilities.....and now 6'2" and 220+, should be interesting...
  11. They have at 3rd string right now behind to really good walk ons. From Orangbloods, though, the word is the players having been tweeting about him at running back. The players respect him a lot which I'm not surprised....
  12. From what I've read is that he wants to play and they need him. He ask the coaches to move him there so he could play. They have had crucial injuries in the running back position. His future as QB is still there and they are working on his mechanics, but gotta respect a kid who is a team player. They have him weighing in at 223 right now which is good size.
  13. Having Garth out is a big bummer. The kids senior year looking to go to the Longhorns, bad deal. Haven't been able to keep up with our team much this year, wondering if my Indian buddies are out there?
  14. I know, Logan's like a son to me. Love that kid. He'll be starting at first base at Lamar this year. Will be attending many Baseball games this year. Desalatte is aggressive like him. We need leaders on defense badly.
  15. PNG has a lot returning. Nt RJ, of course, but most of the o-line (250+) and Dae Dae and Deslatte and Wenchel. Bost at QB will be fun to watch. Not RJ, but good in his own right. I was told that Deslatte will go to linebacker, which would be awesome because he's like Lejuene back there. We may not be so easy to take down as you think.
