  1. Passing of BH may be too much. If Vidor can keep BH offense off the field, I'd say Vidor. Key for Vidor D is to pressure QB often....
  2. that says a lot!! I remember playing against a good one by the name Kevin Smith.....ring a bell?
  3. I agree, but they are young 'uns in there so thank God for preseason. They actually didn't do that bad. Centering the ball is crucial!! Again, WOS chain gang d-line is always good. Doesn't look like they are missing a step starting off this year. Same with their d-backs, speed. It is good experience for our guys. The Brook will be very good for us too. Good to have strong opposition early to help push us. Healthy, Healthy, Healthy. Logan Hammond was pushing people around on defense line, so I can't wait for Sergio to get back.
  4. From my perspective WOS defense was a typical WOS defense. They were fast and physical. WOS D line did a good job. I liked the fact that our young line went up against them, it is good experience. WOS running back is very fast, he will see a lot of yards this year. I think our running game did pretty good and will get better. We do have some young ones out on the field this year which surprised me and they are very athletic. Our D looked good but can't wait for Sergio to get back. He is a play maker. RJ to Riggs is is going get crazy this year. When Stansbury gets situated it will be even better. Hughes will be tough to stop. All in all it was a good scrimmage. WOS will be tough to beat in my opinion, but that is usually a given.
  5. Confident in the D-line and linebackers. Don't know about D-backs. Offensive-line, we will have to see. Inexperience there. As far as skill positions, I am very confident there. A lot of speed and shiftiness. RJ could have a great year passing with the receivers coming back, but it depends on our o-line. I just want all our kids to stay healthy this year..... With that said: PAM PNG Central Vidor (Vidor and Central could switch places. Been following Ned for years with this age group and don't see them having their normal year. Never know though 'cause Barrows could pull a rabbit out)
  6. Don't get me wrong, I am happy to see RJ at the helm, but if we didn't have him all would not be lost. I am sure most of you haven't seen Austin Bost man the QB position. The only reason he is not there is because RJ is on a level few get to. Austin is very much the caliber of Adam Morse and IMHO even better. With Preston Riggs and the other returning receivers I think we'd be in the hunt still. BTW, Preston Hughes is returning in the backfield. He was pretty dang good before he got hurt. I still think PAM has the advantage in the backfield with Hines....
  7. Be interesting if College Station and Temple go all the way
  8. Hughes was at my house last night. He was pumped. He wants to play so bad. Kid has a lot of desire.
  9. "We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive!" Sorry, felt like Bill Pullman could help us out here....
  10. Deep into playoffs you eventually get the beast. Looks like that's what we got next week. At least we have the opportunity. Push forward....
  11. Holy cow! D did awesome! RJ is just crazy to watch. Knew McGough would step up. DeSlatte is impressive.
  12. 10-4, limping in the third round with true heart! Way to go NDN'S!!!
  13. That's the smell of money, lol....just go inside and light a sugar cookie candle
