  1. Appears turnovers plagued you guys again.
  2. Vidor has to have ground control the whole game. If Quirante breaks one, it may not go the distance like other games just because of thee speed of PAM on defense. 4 yards and a cloud of dust per carry to keep #25 off the field. He can change things in a hurry...
  3. I played in the '85 football year('86 graduate). Yes Guidry came after Duhon and French snapped his leg in half with bone sticking out. It was nasty. French also knocked half of our team for that year.
  4. I think only one team went back then and it ended up being TJ, I could be wrong. It was between us and TJ. 83 year?
  5. RJ is a different style QB. Very balanced attack. Long was a good runner, but not like RJ. Then again, I don't know if RJ will be the pure thrower that Long was. I mean, Long set records in the big 12. There was a guy by the name of Denny Duhon in the early 80's that was the size of a line man playing QB. Guy had a rocket for a pass. He died in a car crash at a young age.
  6. Lol
  7. That is true about Austin, but he is pretty important on the other side of ball too. Do have a third stringer that could step in. I do like Austin getting reps though.
  8. Some of those running plays were designed passing plays, RJ is so dang quick he makes them look like a running play. I agree though, keep from getting hurt when we're up.
  9. Centering the ball is off tonight. Hurting us
  10. BTW, I've screaming for some holding on the Jags side but aint got a flag yet. So no home cooking going on
  11. Opinions are for political forums, take your arguments there. Don't respond to a post if it is going to create tension. Move on and let the haters hate. There is a time and place for that and it ain't this forum. God bless all people on here.
  12. Don't know what the ref saw, he was right there. Did look like it.
  13. Might have got away with that one.
  14. Penalties..have to stop that....
  15. We look flat on offense
  16. PNG Varsity is a junior strong team, right now. Many coming back next year. They have sophomores up that play some. Yes we are going to lose some key defensive players but they have some to step up. Logan Lejeune and Robinson at linebacker will be missed next year but there are some good players coming up to take their place. McZeal and Mcgough are seniors but Riggs is a junior and Hughes is a junior. Andrew Hebert, who had to step in at H back against Memorial, is a big and strong with good hands. I don't see a hbig drop off next year. Now after that i don't know. I know our Freshman are good, not too sure about the Sophomores, except RJ, of course.
  17. Two big Cats first the a dog.....
  18. Again, I think RJ was so amped for the Titans he put a little too much on his passes in the first half. Yes, he did have pressure too, so I am not discounting that, but the times he didn't and over threw I think it was because he was so fired up. Seen it happen to many QB's even in College and Pro's. He did make some great throws in the second half after he calmed down a bit. The one to Riggs for a first down in the fourth was on the money. I think he will be more composed against Central. Fired up, but composed. We shall see. Do we have any short routes to hit McZeal on? I also would like to see McGough get passed to a little more. He is big and has great hands. How is Central on putting pressure on the QB. Our o-line better step it up moving forward.
  19. I RJ was so amped up in first half that he was putting too much on the ball. When he wasn't being chased around he over threw. Second half he put some on the money. His hurdle for a touch down over Vincent was sweet. O-line got to step it up this week and give some protection. Don't think Central has the same caliber defense, but could be wrong. It was good to face that good of a defense in district though.
  20. This is a valid point. The only time RJ ran he got about 12 yards. That being said, WOS can compete with many good teams in 5A. I think they would make a run into the playoffs. But then you get to Cedar park, Manvel etc.
  21. Central is always a tough game.
