BYU has won a national championship and has a Heisman trophy winner. Since becoming independent three years ago, BYU has beaten six teams currently in power leagues, including destroying Texas the past two years. In the last 10 years, that number climbs to 19, including Oklahoma. In the last 25 years, they've beaten 44 power-conference teams, including Notre Dame, twice. Not only that, they have more all-time wins than 11 AQ teams, including Florida State, Louisville and Kansas State. But even though they're no longer in the Mountain West, they're still considered an FBS mid-major? This is absurd. That's probably going to keep them out of the playoff if they were to go 12-0.
What is your opinion? If they finish 12-0 should they be able to play in the playoffs?
